RFK Jr. Appears on Ron Paul Liberty Report

Environmentalist Robert F. Kennedy Jr. (RFK Jr.), son of the assassinated Senator Robert F. Kennedy (RFK) and nephew of assassinated President John F. Kennedy (JFK), appeared on the Ron Paul Liberty Report today.  The host, former Congressman Ron Paul, identified himself as a libertarian during the show. Paul is a lifetime member of the Libertarian Party and was the party’s 1988 presidential nominee.  His runs for the Republican Party’s 2008 and 2012 presidential nominations energized the liberty movement.

During the show, Paul labeled RFK Jr.’s views as “Independent” even though RFK Jr. is a lifelong Democrat.  RFK Jr. dropped some truthbombs during the appearance.  They are posted here in the event YouTube, which is known to censor viewpoints outside the mainstream, deletes the video posted further below.

RFK Jr. reveals:

  • The Kennedys opposed the CIA interference in foreign nations and wanted to decrease their power. JFK signed an order to remove military advisers from Vietnam days before his assassination.  RFK Jr. believes the CIA may have been involved in the assassinations of both JFK and RFK.
  • A Republic cannot last if it practices imperialism abroad.
  • As an environmentalist attorney concerned with mercury found in fresh water fish, Kennedy became aware in 2005 about mercury in vaccinations and the link with autism.  He investigated the link and discovered Big Pharma covered up studies linking vaccinations with autism. Any disagreement with Big Pharma on the subject leads to charges of anti-science.
  • More people are dying as a result of the lockdowns than from the coronavirus. The lockdowns are leading to the erosion of New Deal programs and enriching the wealthy over the middle class.  This goes against the spirit of the Democratic Party.
  • Fear of coronavirus is a tool used to enact authoritarianism and increase the power of government.  Fear is a way for authoritarian governments to control populations.
  • Children are more likely to die from the flu than coronavirus. The question is whether the future of children should be sacrificed for the health of the elderly.
  • The 1969 bird flu pandemic killed 100,000 Americans, a higher percentage of the population than with COVID-19 today, yet the government did not institute lockdowns at that time.

    “Truthbombs”? Pack o lies.

    1. Jack (and Bobby) ordered Operation Mongoose for the CIA to topple Castro.
    2. Jack knew about the Diem coup and signed off on it. His tears over Diem’s death were purely crocodile tears. He was also NOT “just about to get out of Vietnam.”
    3. There IS NO link between thimerosal based mercury in vaccines and autism.
    4. COVID ain’t done killing. Most knowledgeable health authorities believe the US current death count is at least 50K low.
Shock me that an antivaxxer so nutbar that his own family wants him to shut up is also a coronavirus conspiracy theorist.

Who posted this and then called this dreck “truthbombs”? Stand up and identify yourself!

If you want to see what censorship of viewpoints outside a narrow acceptable window actually looks like, repeal section 230. Then you will really see it. Everywhere. As of now, I’m not aware of any RPLibertyReport video that’s been removed by Youtube. Although there was a kerfuffle a few years ago that RPLibertyReport was demonetized(i.e, advertisers are blocked from showing ads in the videos, hence, there is no ad revenue to share with the content creator) by Youtube, I see ads in his videos now if I fire up a browser with no ad-blocking extensions. And that reminds me: youtube allows videos to function with ad blocking enabled, which is not the norm. That’s why I watch youtube mostly on desktop instead of my big screen 60″ TV, to avoid those incessant, irritating ads.

Yeah, ole Ron wasn’t exactly conducting a hard hitting interview, here.

Truthbombs is editorializing by endorsing the truth of Kennedy’s claims. This is the same thing that happened with the headline that endorsed the truth of Paul Watson’s false characterization of Jorgenson’s statements on the responses of private employers to support or opposition re BLM.

William, sorry I forgot I can look at the tags and see who is the author.

DL rightly agrees with me. And Rick Perlstein and others have refuted pieces like that one by The Nation. I see you posted Galbreith’s non-refutal of Perlstein, which I’ve read before, and which is simply wrong. Nice try, but … wrong. Why do so many people ignore the myth of Jack Kennedy as hard-core Cold Warrior, starting with his “Spare no burden” inaugural address?

At least you didn’t post a link agreeing with his antivaxxerism. Or with JFK assassination conspiracy theories.

Speaking of links, I’ve read RFK Jr’s book about his dad and uncle. Dreck, with actual lies about multiple matters of substance re the Vietnam War and other things: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show/2426903280

1969 Hong Kong flu is true. No lockdowns then and things moved along. If anything, the current death toll is too high, not low. They have been caught making up numbers in several states.

H, “They have been caught making up numbers in several states” is simply not true. I’ll file you under coronavirus conspiracy theorists” too.

Ignoring the fact that covid-19 is more contagious and lethal than the H3N2 68 pandemic(or the 2009 H1N1 pandemic for that matter), its apples and oranges. For better or worse, there are many things the world reacts differently to today than it did yesterday.

If anything, the current death toll is too high, not low. They have been caught making up numbers in several states.

The reported death tolls seems fairly consistent w/ the journal mortality rate, which is 4 or 5 per thousand

  9. SocraticGadfly

DL, the “too low” that I’ve seen is more along the lines of “how many cases did we miss early on”, not whether the mortality rate isn’t approximately right.

I wouldn’t be surprised because of the whole chain of slowness to react if the US “really” has 200K coronavirus deaths already.
