Correction: Contrary to our much earlier report, the organization name is the “Association of Liberty State Parties”, not the “Association of Libertarian State Parties”.
We had previously reported the suggestion that an alternative national libertarian group, the Association of Liberty State Parties, was being formed. They now have a splash page, seen at http://ALSP.VOTE. Our source advises us that they have an email address [email protected], while the web site provides [email protected]. Independent Political Report has confirmed that emails sent to these email addresses do not bounce. A WHOIS search reveals that they registered with GoDaddy, the Registrant being located in Pennsylvania.

New Federalist: So far as I can tell, you have not missed anything. The ALSP is playing its cards very close to its vest, so I actually do not know who is behind it or who is supporting it, other than that the Registrant is in Pennsylvania. There is also an @LPNationalColab group. A prominent Mises Caucus member, on Facebook, referred to a third group, but I am not sure he was not being sarcastic.
I could not find any way on the site to see if there are any state parties currently signed on. Did I miss something?
