Long-time Michigan activists have proclaimed their support of the Michigan Libertarian Party chaired by Joseph Brungardt. The Libertarian National Committee recognizes a different group as the LNC’s affiliate in Michigan. The proclamation follows:
We, the leadership of the Libertarian Party of Michigan,
1) as previously duly elected or nominated by its membership at convention to represent it at the state level either;
a) internally as its party officers,
b) externally on the ballot as its candidates for statewide elections, or2) as members of that party elected to public office, hereby recognize the one true and legitimate Executive Committee of the Libertarian Party of Michigan which as of February 8, 2023 consists of the following offices filled by the following people:
