The Longmont Green Party, a local affiliate of the Colorado Green Party, will host a virtual Candidates Forum early next year along. It is scheduled for January 5, 2024, from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM MST.
The event, titled “Break the System,” is open to any Green Party candidate running for the United States Senate or Congress, and attendance will be free. The primary focus of the forum will be to recruit additional candidates. It is additionally being sponsored by the Denver Green Party affiliate.
Currently, the Longmont Green Party has announced that two Senate candidates and two House candidates will be participating in the forum. These candidates are Justin Paglino from Connecticut and Christina Amira Khalil from New Jersey, both running for the United States Senate, as well as Jason Call from Washington and Sean Dougherty from California, both vying for Congressional seats.
Patrick Dillon, Longmont Green Party Co-Chair, will host.
