The Vermont People’s Party is the latest party to announce its support for Rage Against the War Machine, a rally organized by the Libertarian Party and the national People’s Party, set to take place outside the Washington Monument later this month.
The state party first called on supporters to physically attend the rally if possible earlier in the month before later announcing its involvement this week, stating, “Vermont People’s Party is proud to be bronze sponsor of the RAWM 2.0! Check out our new logo below on the banner! May we win our country back from the money people! Unite to stop the wars!”
According to the Rage Against the War Machine website, bronze sponsors are coalition members who have contributed $500 to the event. A list of donors to the rally also shows that the Vermont People’s Party made two financial contributions prior to its recent announcement.
In addition to the two national organizing parties and the Vermont People’s Party, the coalition includes the Libertarian Party of Maryland, the Libertarian Party’s Mises Caucus, and several non-electoral organizations, among them the Center for Political Innovation USA and US Students Against Imperialism. A full list of coalition members is available here.
The Rage Against the War Machine rally is scheduled for September 28 at the Washington Monument, with over a dozen speakers expected to address participants. The rally’s list of demands include disbanding NATO, pursuing global nuclear de-escalation, reducing the Pentagon’s budget, and ending U.S. funding for overseas conflicts in Ukraine and Gaza, among other topics.

And no, it’s not Gaza. Because Israel needs US funding far less than it needs the US to stop blackmailing its officials into sacrificing its citizens so the American left can go one funding the genocide terrorist organization “Palestine”. Thank God Israel currently at least has a relatively conscientious prime minister who less prone to the Pentagon’s extortion than most of his generals and officials are.
Rather, it’s the “global nuclear de-escalation” bit. How does RATWM plan on “pursuing” that? More color revolutions to topple democratically elected governments the US doesn’t like in the name of “make love not war”? However much America has tried to, it does not currently and should never dictate other countries’ defenses. And constitutionally, the Pentagon should not be dictating private citizens’ defenses at all either.
Perhaps the RATM reference was apt after all, and they are simply calling out the Uncle Sam’s longstanding “world police force” policy of “F*** you! I don’t do what I tell you. F*** you! I don’t do what I tell you. F*** you! I don’t do what I tell you. F*** you! I do whatever I want to.”
