Former Libertarian National Committee Chair Angela McArdle will be a keynote speaker at the Free State Project’s New Hampshire Liberty Forum this year, where she will discuss her time as chair and her approach to advancing libertarian goals through engagement with candidates outside the party.
In an announcement on social media this week, the Free State Project confirmed McArdle’s participation as a main stage keynote speaker. The statement described her as a “trailblazer” who had “bucked precedent and outraged party institutionalists” and “challenged the liberty movement to think differently about how to achieve liberty-for-real.”
McArdle’s keynote, titled The Heart of the Deal, will focus on her tenure leading the Libertarian Party, including her decision to invite candidates such as Donald Trump and Robert F. Kennedy Jr. to speak at the 2024 Libertarian National Convention and to negotiate policy concessions from the Trump campaign, including the pardon of Ross Ulbricht.
The New Hampshire Liberty Forum is an annual conference that has been hosted by the Free State Project since 2007. According to organizers, the forum aims to bring together “liberty-minded thinkers and activists from around the globe—each committed to creating and expanding real, functional communities rooted in freedom.” This year’s event, which will take place in Concord, will also introduce a new Dialogue series, featuring discussions with various grassroots libertarians.
Additional keynote speakers include Jeff Deist, Sgt. Dan McKnight, Bruce Fenton, and Ted Patterson, among others. The forum will also host this year’s SoHo Forum debate, featuring Eric Brakey and Andrew Heaton, on whether libertarians should prioritize building independent, liberty-focused communities like the Free State Project rather than working within the federal political system.
@Mr “Assault Assault Assault Assault”
Hmmm U+1F914 Last time you said something along those lines, it ended with you being physically removed from the convention while lacklusterly whimpering something about “assault” to roars of laughter… How is that lawsuit you were threatening coming along? U+1F60F

Like I predicted, it is already outraging leftists a month beforehand, as seen here… The salt is palpable U+1F60B
You’re saying Trump’s package knocked out her teeth? That sounds like package envy.
The political stretchmarks on her mouth left by Trump’s deal of a package tha ruined 20 years worth of infrastructure are shamelessly apparent.
She’ll probably get a job with a conservative organization as a “thank-you” from the Right for her work at destroying the LP.
It will be interesting to see whether having her as a speaker increases or decreases attendance at the event.
“The Heart of the Deal” Excellent. This should prove interesting and outrage all the right leftists.
