Utah Libertarian Party to Hold 2026 State Convention in Sandy

The Utah Libertarian Party will hold its 2026 state nominating convention later this month in Sandy. Delegates will nominate congressional candidates, elect national convention delegates, and hear from members running for national party leadership seats.

Party members will meet April 17 and 18 at the Best Western Cotton Tree Inn. Under party rules, voting as a state convention delegate is limited to supporting members who have contributed at least $20 within the past year and met the party’s 30-day eligibility requirement ahead of the convention. The business session is otherwise free to attend for delegates.

Details released by the party state that the convention will begin Friday evening with the annual Karl Bray Banquet, held in honor of the party’s founder and an original member of what became the Libertarian National Committee. Bray was also the first Libertarian candidate to appear on the Utah state ballot when he ran for the 2nd congressional district in 1974.

Formal business is scheduled for Saturday morning and will run through the afternoon. During that session, the party said it expects to nominate candidates in all four of Utah’s congressional districts this year, which would mark the first time it has fielded a full slate of candidates for those offices.

The party said it anticipates having guest speakers, though a full lineup has not yet been announced.

State delegates will then elect Utah’s delegation to the Libertarian National Convention, which will take place over Memorial Day weekend in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Delegate allocation figures released by the Libertarian National Committee show that the Utah affiliate is entitled to 15 delegates this year, an increase of one from 2024. Due to its size, the party also gets up to 50 alternates under convention rules.

Candidates running for positions on the Libertarian National Committee next month are also expected to deliver remarks to state convention delegates, either remotely or through recorded messages.

What does the above statement have to do with the Libertarian Party of Utah?

Despite being purged from the national Constitution Party by its Masonic Controllers ( see the work of Altiyan Childs ) for my creation of the 1st Straight Pride event ( where we support masculinity, femininity, babies born and unborn, the natural nuclear family, Western Civilization, & Christianity while opposing the BlackGenocide.org documented Planned Parenthood genocide of 20 MILLION + blacks ) in the history of the nation I will be the Constitution Party candidate for Governor in addition to having the most unique Voter Guide statement in the nation.

It is such a shame/tragedy that The Controllers chose to attack many loyal members such myself; an action which has ensured its national irrelevance both now and, so unfortunately, especially in the decades ahead.
