Antiwar activist Cindy Sheehan, running as an independent for Congress in California’s Eighth District against House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, has endorsed Green Cynthia McKinney for president:
In other McKinney campaign news, the Green candidate “has filed a lawsuit arguing she should be placed on Ohio’s November ballot,” the AP reports, and both McKinney and running mate Rosa Clemente were interviewed by Indymedia.

You are no longer welcome in my house!

On what would have been Casey’s 29th birthday, his mother, Cindy Sheehan, describes her beloved son who lived a life of high integrity and whose fate was decided by brute force and deceit.

I only wish McKinney had taken Sheehan’s route, as an independent, pr built a new aprty via her campaign. And I wish McKinney had not dropped out last September, that killed off a lot of momentum. Had McKinney announced last Sept, she could ahve under cut Obama as the maverick/independent, and be way way ahead of thte game right now. Instead of just the other day announcing that campaign stickers and such are just now avb?!
I’m thinking more and more of voting McKinney; nader has pretty much had his day; as much as I think he is completely right-on on what he says. But, as I’ve said before, this ’08 Nader campaign, should have been the ’96 Nader campaign.
