In Ohio’s 15th Congressional District, three candidates for Congress discussed the issues before an editorial board. Independent Don Eckhart, an evangelical endorsed by Ohio Right to Life, made the most impact with his comments on taxes and abortion.
“I’m the only one here who’s never raised taxes,” he said, ignoring the fact that he is also the only one to have never held elected office. He has, however, worked for the government in the past. Eckhert also brought up his position on abortion, because he is the only anti-abortion candidate in the race.
If you would like to view the rest of the details of the debate and the comments made by the other two contenders, you can read about it here.

My bad, I didn’t mean to put “local”.
“an evangelical endorsed by a local anti-abortion group”
Local anti-abortion group? Eckhart was endorsed by the Ohio Right to Life Committee–that is a big deal.
Sadly, the Columbus Dispatch did not include Mark Noble, the Libertarian candidate.
Or possibly, Mark decided not to take part. Who knows? I haven’t talked to him in a few days.
The Dispatch did include me, the 12th district candidate:

The old guy is me.
