From Ballot Access News:
Kentucky elects its statewide state offices in November of the odd years before presidential elections. This year, the Kentucky ballot will include one independent candidate for Governor, Gatewood Galbraith; and one Libertarian Party nominee for Treasurer, Ken Moellman. Each needed at least 5,000 valid signatures. Galbraith submitted 7,496; Moellman submitted 8,100. Both petitions have been approved.
This is the first time the Libertarian Party has ever been on the Kentucky ballot for a statewide office, in a non-presidential year. Neither the Green Party nor the Constitution Party has ever been on the statewide Kentucky ballot in a non-presidential year. There were no independent or minor party candidates on the Kentucky statewide ballot in 2007, nor in 2003.
All four states holding gubernatorial elections this year have at least one minor party or independent candidate on the ballot for Governor. The other states with gubernatorial elections this year are West Virginia, Louisiana, and Mississippi

Notice in the original post I didn’t mention GF as being the one committing the charity fraud, but then GF comes back and acts as if I said that it was him to whom I was referencing. This points out that he knows that he’s guilty.

LOL! GF IS the disturbed individual who crawled out of the woodwork. I’ve been posting here on a regular basis lately and I in fact posted in other threads here within the last day or two, and unlike GF, my posts were actually ON TOPIC for the thread.

Your post was also completely off topic. The controversy that you posted about happened over 3 years ago. The person who tried to have the signatures you collected burned – Sean Haugh – does not even work for the Libertarian Party anymore as he was fired or “let go” in December of 2008 and he was also fired from Free and Equal in July of 2010 after causing many problems on petition drives in Texas and Georgia that year. Sean Haugh is no longer in the petition business and this incident is not a current event and is not relevant to this thread.

These accusations are not “out there” as I happen to know several people who have told me that you are doing a charity scam where you pretend that you are raising money for disabled/homeless veterans and that you keep the money. I could name names of specific individuals who know what you are doing and they are names with whom you’ll be quite familiar.
I’m no defender of Sean Haugh, in fact, I think that Sean Haugh should have been prosecuted and I think that the LP and Free and Equal should have fired him much sooner than they did, and for that matter, they never should have hired him in the first place. Having said this, I wanted to point out what a hypocrite GF is because he came on here to point out how Sean Haugh should have been prosecuted when GF himself deserves to be prosecuted right now for financial fraud. He defrauded myself out of several thousand dollars and he also defrauded a woman out of several thousand dollars, and for the last several months he’s been running a charity scam where he’s been defrauding disabled/homeless veterans as well as people who intend to donate money to disabled/homeless veterans but are instead “donating” to GF’s scam (ie-GF keeps all of the money for himself).

The accusations in this post are so ludicrous they’ve left me speechless without a way to answer (how does one respond to such nonsense?) and has reminded me of the adage I should have learned long ago: never argue with an insane person; those observing may not be able to tell the difference. What I described in post #3 should be covered under some kind of laws concerning fraud I’d imagine.
I wonder what the laws are concerning a person who claims to raise money for charity – in this case disabled veterans – but who then keeps the money for himself with none of the money raised actually going to any charity.

I just recently learned that state laws relating to the destruction of nomination papers are enforceable by the Federal Government, not state or local governments. See link below. (This means that when then-political director Sean Haugh solicited to destroy 2,000 nomination petition signatures of mine in Massachusetts in 2008, that I erred in taking the case to the Commonwealth, rather than to the Feds.)
