I stayed up for Red Eye on Fox. IMO he was much better there. Penn Jillette was one of the other guests. Seemed to bring out the best in Gary.

    Know of a clip anywhere?

I’ll put up a new article as soon as I find a clip

    Also Ron Nielson just tweeted:

“Gary Johnson has a new ad to be released in the morning.”

At this point (almost 4AM Mountain Time) I’m tempted to stay up for it! (Assuming it’ll be released in 4 hours or so . . .).

Funny, I noticed that he used the word “notion” quite a bit, also. It’s a funny word to insert into politics.

I think he did well. I think if he goes on another time, he’ll probably be more relaxed. Jon seemed to like him fine, so Gary will be more at ease on his next visit.

Is this going to get bumped? The interview is pretty good. I think Johnson says, “The notion that” too much.

I have also heard him say in other interviews as well as this one about how Democrats are good on civil liberties and Republicans are good on dollars and cents. I think he gives them too much credit. I understand what he is trying to say, but to the average viewer I think he would be better off saying that they AREN’T living up to what they claim to be good at.

Overall interview was decent, but not enough to launch is campaign. Could have gone better, and I’m surprised Stewart didn’t have an extended interview like others where they put it online.

Keep up the good work Gary.

Sure. Would be good to update it to say that it is a reminder. I’m looking forward to seeing it on youtube, no comedy central at my current motel unfortunately.

Paulie – I guess I missed it, but a reminder is a good thing too.
