Allen Buckley, who received 127,974 votes for U.S. Senate in Georgia as the Libertarian nominee, will not make an endorsement in the December runoff, the AP reports. Buckley “scolded his opponents for supporting excessive spending he argued would worsen the nation’s economic woes.”

paulie,
No turnout operation anytime in the past has brought out such a high level of black voters out of Atlanta. I suppose it’s possible that they could really pound Atlanta and then seek higher turnout from college towns–but I doubt it.
With the multi millions pouring into Georgia, turnout for the runoff could be quite high.

. . .–Chambliss is going to win.
I’d imagine that Barr will be ecstatic about that, as his PAC supported Chambliss.
I was kinda hoping he’d be able to play kingmaker for the Democrat–it would’ve gotten alot of press attention.
With that said–Chambliss is going to win. The only reason it was as close as it was was because Obama vooters were out in strength.
