The Libertarian Party of New York will have its convention tomorrow. Following is a notice and a schedule for the event.
Also, this article can be used as an open thread for reports of how the convention is going. Thanks to Mark Axinn for providing this information to IPR.

It may well be. I hope so.
Paulie and Mike–
Thanks! This is the year we will get over 50,000 votes for Governor.
Whites are quickly becoming a minority in NY; do libertarians even care?
Great to hear.
Good luck with the petitioning.
Credico did not campaign very hard for this nomination. He did not show up and only got one vote in the first round of voting.
It was a very close race between Mike McDermott, Chris Edes and Nate Lebron, all of whom are excellent spokesmen for Libertarian Party ideals.
We have a terrific ticket of candidates and now have to get them on the damn ballot!
We also have candidates for State Senate, Assembly and possibly Congress as well.
All with heavy petitioning requirements.
I know Credico disagrees with most Libertarians on many economic issues.
Any other ideological differences among them?
McDermott and Cooper are from Long Island; Credico is from NYC; Diadoto lives in the Hudson Valley; Lebron lives in an Albany suburb and Edes lives in Rochester in the western part of the state.
Just like any large state, there are geographical rivalries in New York too.
How did the different candidates for the Gov nomination contrast themselves? Were there factional or ideological differences, or was it more of a personality issue?
At large members to state committee, in addition to officers reported two entries above:
Audrey Capozzi* (LI)
Michael Houze* (LI)
Brian Waddell* (NYC)
Rob Power (NYC)
Kevin Wilson (Rochester)

We had 70 credentialed delegates and about a dozen or so observers and guests, including a reporter and photographer from the Albany Times Union.
Thanks to the Capital District LP Chapter for all their hard work in putting on a great convention for all attendees.
Evening speaker was Geoff Neale.
Nice, long, exhausting day. We have a great ticket of LI, NYC and upstate Libertarians to represent the Party and to obtain ballot status this year.

Who-all is running for Governor?
Thanks Jill.
Well, now it’s today!
We have approx. 60 people pre-registered, although more may register at the door later today.
Very nice evening hanging out with some of the delegates, including four of my predecessors as NY State Chair, last night in the hotel bar.
The exciting news race will be for nomination for Governor with five declared candidates. We will have a chance for each of them to speak and a bit of Q&A in the morning, and the nominations will be in the afternoon business session.
Should be a great day!
