Green Party sends Independence Day message to supporters

In a message to supporters titled “Have a Red, White, and GREEN 4th of July!”, the Green Party Steering Committee writes, “As we get ready to celebrate our nation’s 239th birthday, courage is a good thing to talk about. We all know the courage it took our nation’s founders to create this great land. July 4th honors their sacrifice, as well as all those who have sacrificed for our nation. And it takes a special kind of courage — and vision — to support a small party founded on the principle that ‘business as usual’ has to stop. That our environment and people come first. That change must come. Now.”
