I have news on volunteer projects! One is recent! One is ongoing! One is NEW!
The RECENT project is putting our Presidential candidate on the ballot. The Libertarian hero managing this project is State Committee member Cris Crawford. [email protected] If you are willing to collect signatures, contact her now! After the signatures are collected, they need to be moved to town halls. If you are free on weekdays and can help with that, please contact Cris Crawford as soon as possible!
The ONGOING project is our FaceBook ad campaign. Every month, we spend several hundred dollars putting our stands on Libertarian issues before Massachusetts voters. You can see those campaigns on Facebook at Peace Now! End the Warfare State, at End the Surveillance State! and at Libertarian Association of Massachusetts. Our campaigns have been seen by more than 100,000 Massachusetts voters. That’s voter awareness! Over 3000 voters have said they liked our posts. We can contact the likers individually. To volunteer for this effort, contact State Chair George Phillies [email protected].
The NEW effort is LOCAL ORGANIZATION. We want to set up long-lived local groups covering a city and surrounding suburbs, or a group of nearby towns. In the short term, you get to meet your fellow libertarians. In the longer term, you support each other as you run for local office, building a Libertarian Party organization that helps you and other libertarians win elections and influence public policy. We need dedicated local leaders who are willing to spend the time to set groups up, give them objectives so that they do things, and keep them going. Your state committee has excellent extensive lists of libertarian contacts for expanding local organizations. To volunteer for this effort, contact State Chair George Phillies [email protected].
Yours for Liberty,
George Phillies
