The letter has been sent, received, and posted on Twitter. Your Editorial staff is trying to get a clear copy for an article.

    Oh dear–more heartache in Michigan?
This is getting people motivated into local offices… how?

LNC needs to resuscitate the original localism policy:
    a) Standard LP by-laws for all state parties that they must use, focusing on ballot access, run only State House candidates on a unified signature issue every few years set by LNC, and most important a 60% vote Direct Democracy procedure like we put in Florida.

That fulfils the ‘libertarian-direction’ LP mission–which Direct Democracy on the Constitution THEN gets rid of ballot access laws, implements income tax and small home tax abolition, balanced budget, localism, anti-peonage minimum wage now outside legislative football, and transparency procedures etc. AS WE DID IN FLORIDA directly or by threat of those zany Libertarian on the warpath again!

    b) Recognize as ‘LP associates’ (typically as clubs) as many per state as want to go to the trouble and say ‘go for it’. They do everything else.
    Then:
    (…)

    No agita and actual results!

I was trying to get this revived when I left LNC, and GP as I understand it did this in Mass. with a Libertarian Association there.

Yes protecting property rights is highly Libertarian.

The vote is proceeding. As I type, the vote is not unanimous.

I didn’t know that there were so many advocates of IP on the board.
