Texas Libertarians to Convene Next April for 2024 State Convention

Texas Libertarians will meet in Corpus Christi next April for the 2024 State Convention of the Libertarian Party of Texas, where they will select national delegates, vote on the state platform, and hear from presidential hopefuls.

On Monday afternoon, the Libertarian Party of Texas announced on social media that its upcoming state convention, “Forging Forward with Freedom,” is scheduled to be held in Corpus Christi, Texas, from April 12 to April 14, 2023. This event will be open to both Libertarian Party of Texas members and the general public.

Members participating in the business session will select delegates for the 2024 Libertarian National Committee as well as vote upon proposed changes to the party platform.

The convention will also feature guest speakers and a Friday evening presidential debate open to all participants. Gold and VIP attendees will also have a gala and an opportunity to meet with the presidential candidates participating in the debate that same night.

Liz Wolfe, an associate editor at Reason Magazine responsible for the Reason Roundup and co-host of Just Asking Questions, is set to moderate the debate. As of now, the presidential hopefuls planning to attend the debate have not been announced.
