The Pink Pistols of New Hampshire have endorsed Libertarian candidate for state representative, Morey Straus.
The Pink Pistols are a gay gun rights organization in the United States and Canada. Their mottos are “Armed gays don’t get bashed” and “Pick on someone your own caliber.”
As Straus says on his blog:
- I support the right to keep and bear arms
- I simultaneously support both equal treatment under the law and the total deregulation of marriage
- I oppose discrimination by state agencies in evaluating adoptive parents
These answers, to a questionnaire circulated by the Pink Pistols, garnered him an “A+” rating and the organization’s endorsement.
Their 2008 calendar, “Guns and Buns”, was a classic.
I decline to dive deeper into the well of cheap tawdriness, at this time.
Actually I’m surprised there aren’t more gay gun owners’ groups, or maybe just better publicised ones.
