Benzie Johnson, a former write-in candidate for mayor of Albany, has announced his candidacy for mayor, and intends on running as an independent or third-party candidate. He said, “The residents need more choice than just two parties.”

    Yep. I knew it wasn’t Albany, Georgia though because we have non-partisan elections for city offices, so that’s one that can be ruled out. 😉
