Green Party Wins Another Seat in French Parliament

Ballot Access News:

On July 4, the voters of the Rambouillet district held a special election to fill a vacancy in the French Chamber of Deputies. Green Party nominee Anny Poursinoff placed first, among a field of seven. Because she didn’t get 50%, a run-off was held one week later, which Poursinoff won. She now joins the other three Green Party members in that body. France does not use Proportional Representation for elections for the Chamber of Deputies. This post was re-written on July 14. Thanks to commenter number 4 for the additional information and the link to the election returns.

    Dear friends and supporters,

[Is don lake REALLY that smart ??????]

I’ll be appearing on the Tom and Todd show for a full hour. We’ll get our chance to give those listeners a taste of what they missed in the WRKO June 16th ‘debate’ that was confined to the three insider candidates for governor – all members of the Beacon Hill Boys Club.

Let’s give the listeners a taste of what a real challenge to business as usual sounds like – and what needs to be included in every debate!

Listen at or on AM 680 and don’t forget to call in – (617) 266-6868!

Also, please take a listen to my interview with Callie Crossley earlier this week and if you like what you hear, please consider making a donation online today.

We need your support! Thank you. (Duh!)
