I hope those poll results are what we’ll see in the real election, although I haven’t seen any random polling that includes Kubby in this race.

Wait, he went from running for President of the United States of America to running for city council?

Paulie, of course those results aren’t what will be seen in real life. It’s like saying Michael Badnarik had 4,000 members of his Facebook group or something — whoop dee doo!

Yeah, why is that a bad thing? There are races that serve to educate the public and bring in new members, such as races for president. There are other races which can be won in the here and now, such as races for city council. We need both.

Bad analogy. We don’t know yet what results we’ll see in real life. The push poll results may or may not be what we’ll see in real life. I stand by my prior statement.

MARIA CHENG, AP Medical Writer – Sun Oct 31,

LONDON – Alcohol is more dangerous than illegal drugs like heroin and crack cocaine, according to a new study.

Heroin, crack cocaine and methamphetamine, or crystal meth, were the most lethal to individuals …..

alcohol outranked all other substances, followed by heroin and crack cocaine. Marijuana, ecstasy and LSD scored far lower.

Experts said alcohol scored so high because it is so widely used and has devastating consequences not only for drinkers but for those around them.

When drunk in excess, alcohol damages nearly all organ systems. It is also connected to higher death rates and is involved in a greater percentage of crime than most other drugs, including heroin.
