LIBERTARIAN PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE CARL PERSON CALLS FOR REPEAL OF GUN CONTROL LAWS
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
January 11, 2012“Gun control activists have used the one-year anniversary of the Tuscon, Arizona shootings as a springboard for their agenda of stripping away our Second Amendment right to bear arms. Years of threats to our right to bear arms have produced zero evidence that increased gun control prevents violence.
“The Tuscon shootings, while tragic, were the result of one mentally disturbed individual’s actions and should not be taken as a sign that our Second Amendment rights should be further restricted.
“Perhaps gun control advocates missed the story of Sarah McKinley, a young mother who shot and killed an intruder on New Year’s Eve, likely saving her own life as well as that of her three-month old son. (http://on.msnbc.com/y2qU3o)
“As cities and towns cut back on their police services, it is more important than ever for us to defend our Second Amendment rights. A 2010 Harris/Reader’s Digest poll showed that 41 percent of American mayors anticipated cutting back on staff and/or services in police or fire departments. (http://prn.to/i3GoOG)“The police department in San Jose, California, announced last month that it would no longer respond to unverified burglar alarms, meaning that the owners may have to take it upon themselves to investigate alarms at their homes or businesses. (http://bit.ly/AloKbp) Nevada City, California recently lost two full-time police officers. The already small force requires staff to take one furlough day a month. (http://bit.ly/x98pw4)
“Americans clearly will have to take more responsibility for keeping themselves, their families and their neighbors safe. As president, I will robustly defend our right to bear arms and repeal gun control laws that restrict our ability to defend ourselves and our property.”

@10 So if I understand you correctly you are saying the chickens are coming home to roost?

answer: YES

Legend in his own mind
I think Dr Stevens shouldn’t be judgmental about Mr Person. Considering Dr. Stevens is a Presidential candidate for another party who can’t seem to decide whether he is a Libertarian or an Objectivist, since he is active in both and pretends to be important for that reason. Also, Dr. Stevens was fired and based on the comments I have read gives me the impression he is a self-centered glory hound and delusional. Why is this guy criticizing Mr. Person? Is he just an ass?
Sam Sloan blasts Carl Person on the gun control issue calling him a Milquetoast Libertarian Candidate for President:

Agree to # 1.
Gun control and farm animals with Mr. Person.
Why is this guy running for anything, but cover?
I like the statement but would prefer if it gave a couple of examples. In this day and age I presume gun control to be additional gun regulation as often advocated by Democrats.
If this means that laws such as the Gun Control Act of 1968 would be repealed and all federal regulatory employees would be laid off – again that sounds great.
I like his stance
Sounds good to me Mr. Person!
Paulie, Chris sent this one directly to me.
Thanks. Please let us know when it’s up.
Paulie–We’re about to put up the new site, and took the last one down in anticipation of that.
Also, can’t seem to get to any content on his site anymore

Clicking on the splash screen just goes back to the splash screen.
Oddly, I don’t remember getting this.
Makes sense to me. May need to pistol whip the sheep and donkeys into submission on Friday and Saturday nights….
