Laurie Roth Encourages RenewAmerica Readers to Help Her Continue Presidential Campaign

Laurie Roth is a talk show host in the Northwest United States who recently campaigned for the Presidential nomination of the Constitution Party in 2012. Roth lost, receiving only a handful of delegates at the Constitution Party National Convention, but has apparently decided to continue her run for President as an Independent. Here, she asks readers of RenewAmerica (an organization with connections to former failed Constitution Party presidential candidate Alan Keyes) to donate to her campaign and become organizers in several states.

We need bold courage, vision, prayer, and focus right now to save our country. Start with prayer that God’s will can be done in the 2012 election. Also, consider getting behind an imperfect, outside-the-box visionary, Dr. Laurie Roth, who was called to run for president this time, not for fame, power, or money, but to obey God and work to get our country back.

I can’t do this without God and without you. My strategy to obtain ballot access is to get patriots in the key Electoral College states to lead in getting the signatures signed and turned into the Secretary of State in each state. I need thousands of volunteers, and I need them now in the following states:

California
Texas
New York
Florida
Pennsylvania
Illinois
Ohio
North Carolina
Georgia
Virginia
Washington
Indiana
Tennessee
Missouri

Laurie Roth’s presidential campaign site can be found here. Roth is going to be on the non-binding primary ballot of the American Independent Party in California in a few weeks.

Im sure she’ll be a Republican again by then.

She sounds absolutely nuts, but I think the CP would’ve liked for her to stick around. Even small media like hers–a radio show playing for an hour every weeknight on 40 stations–would be hugely helpful.

Obviously she won’t win the CP presidential nomination for 2016

I’m wondering if she even knows the basics of ballot access laws…

    My guess is no.

Im not sure Roth is a Keyes surrogate. Remember that Chuck Baldwin also writes for RenewAmerica–and he was the actual person who defeated Keyes in his CP run. So, I don’t know. With that said, she is very Keyesian :P.

I have long had a hunch that Roth is a Keyes surrogate.

Both Roth and Hoefling will be on the ballot in CA. Two Keyes surrogates. This should be interesting.

Citizen1–less than nothing. The only candidate who, when asked, proffered money to the CP for ballot access–was Virgil Goode. That says something, I think.

She did nothing to help the party or ballot access while running for the Constitution Party nomination.

In most of those states, it’s entirely too late to be organizing. I’m wondering if she even knows the basics of ballot access laws…
