Former Independent Governor Jesse Ventura endorses Libertarian nominee Gary Johnson in multiple media outlets.
At the conclusion of the interview, Ventura encourages people who “really want to rebel” against the tyranny of the two party system to vote for Johnson, a former governor and Republican candidate who won the Libertarian nomination in May.
Ventura was promoting his new book ‘DemoCRIPS and ReBLOODlicans: No More Gangs in Government,’ which is Ventura’s manifesto about the two-party system and its obstruction of political progress.

While the CNN segment’s two remaining guests attempted to belittle Ventura, the advocate for independents and opposition parties took the proverbial gloves off and spoke as bluntly as possible. Speaking of the Democratic and Republican Parties, Ventura said, “They’ve created a system in America right now of bribery. Bribery. You have to bribe the parties, bribe the candidates. If we do that in the private sector, we go to jail. Yet, we have a complete political system based on bribery.”
To show just how strongly Jesse Ventura feels about the current race for the White House, he interrupted Christine Romans’ closing goodbye to raise the banner of Libertarian Party Presidential candidate Gary Johnson.

@6 above… I think he would make a better Ambassador to Mexico. Keep him away from DoD or DHS… please! (Just shut down DHS.)
Ventura also voted for Nader. Who cares, as long as his record is solid that is all that matters to me. What is great about Jesse Ventura is that his rhetoric specifically tries to pull in those from the left. Even though his record and governor is clearly a libertarian, he appeals to liberals because he speaks like one.
Gov. Ventura would be a good SecDef for the Johnson Administration.
I lost respect for Jesse when he wrote in one of his books that he “respected” Che Guevara. When you say that and claim to advocate capitalism and freedom…
Thank you. I love Jesse Ventura ……. and Aaron Russo [RIP]
Thank you. I love Jesse Ventura, and watch all his interviews when he comes to the US once a year. Even if you don’t believe in conspiracy theories, I’d still say he is a great advocate for liberty and having him endorse Gary Johnson is great!
Welcome, Austin! Good article.
