When Educating is an Enemy to Action

We live in a world in which nobody wants to offend someone else. If anything, we want others to like us, and so we coddle them. Rocking the boat is taboo.
Then there are those who like to rock the boat for no other reason but “shock value.”
Jesus Christ has been referred to as the Prince of Peace (see Isaiah 9:6), yet Jesus himself said, “Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.” (Matt 10:34)
Does that mean Isaiah was wrong?
The truth is there is a time and season for all things—to laugh and mourn, to heal and to kill, to break down and build up, “A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.” (see Ecclesiastics 3:1-8)
There is also a time for educating, and a time for action.
At this point I’ve been involved in the freedom battle for four years. Much of my time has been spent learning, but much has been spent doing as well. Of the four years, I’d say about 1 year has been spent learning, and 3 years has been spent doing.
We could come up with a doing-to-learning ratio for every patriotic American. Okay, let’s do it! Let’s call it the “Saving America” ratio. Since learning is the denominator, when learning becomes much greater than doing, the ratio is a fraction, but when doing becomes greater than learning the number becomes large. Taking my previous 4 years, my “Saving America” ratio is 3 over 1, or 3. If I had spent 3 years learning and 1 doing, my “Saving America” ratio would be 1/3rd. Now what would be an appropriate ratio?
I get endless emails of people asking me to learn what’s going on in America. In fact, learning about what’s going on in America is big business! You could spend a lot of time reading endless books and articles, watching videos, and listening to broadcasters such as Glenn Beck and/or Alex Jones.
I recognize that learning is important, but without doing something with the knowledge one has, that person is reduced to being an idle observer. Victory, Satan!
Ezra Taft Benson has said: “Once you get the facts about our American Constitutional Republic and the threats to it, then you are going to want to do something. Certainly those who are organized and have a plan and are dedicated, though they be few, will always defeat the many who are not organized and have no plan or dedication.” —Ezra Taft Benson, 1963
The sober fact is there are MANY who are well educated on what’s going on in America. They know the threats to our Constitutional Republic, and can count the threads holding up the Constitution that are being clipped off every day. But are they organizing? Are they planning? Are they dedicating their lives to this cause? Are they wasting and wearing out their lives doing something about it, or are they content to merely learn?
If only we could save our country by learning about what’s wrong with it!
So what would be a good Saving America ratio? Well, if you were to write your Congressman once in 5 years that would be good, but would it save America? If everyone wrote their congressman once in 5 years it would be phenomenal, BUT I’d say this would NOT save America.
Does writing your representative once every 5 years constitute organizing, planning and dedicatingas described in Ezra Taft Benson’s remark?
Unfortunately, for most wanting to do something about the threats to our Constitutional Republic isn’t enough. I know a TON of people who understand the threats, but do nothing. By their actions they speak of a hopeless situation. They know a LOT but are willing to vote for the evil of two lessers when it’s time, much like a Political Science Professor described, saying:
Lazy citizens who then complain about the [voting] choices confronting them are like those who ask not to be disturbed until time for dinner and then sit down to a spare meal and complain about the menu—when they have consistently refused to plant, cultivate, and harvest the garden from which the meal comes.” (Neil A. Maxwell)
If you could scream the truest message on Earth to everyone in America; if you had the solution to our demise AND miraculously had a podium in front of every American to speak it… But let’s go further; let’s say that every American believed what you were telling them! So now ALL OF AMERICA is educated on both the reasons for our demise over the centuries, AND the solution to Americas restoration in her original glory. What good have you now done?
Nothing! Unless… people will thereafter plan, organize and dedicate themselves. Evil will not simply vanish away based on your and others’ knowledge.
A River of Patriots
Picture the rapids of a great river rushing over and around giant boulders. In your mind’s eye, hear its roar and sense its power. Now picture removing a cup of water from this river and sense how this small amount loses its power and starts to dry up in the sun.
Now, imagine emptying this cup back into the river, knowing that as part of the whole, its power wears rocks into sand and in time overpowers all other elements in its way.
As does the cup of water when placed back into the raging river, an inspired group of many Patriots can be an unconquerable force, mending and restoring the liberties of our once great Nation and creating sand out of those ideas in opposition. Yet, as single drops or small streams, we risk drying up in the sun and disappearing.
United We Stand, Divided We Fall! A house of patriots divided against itself cannot stand!
The IAP invites you to accept the challenge and roll up your sleeve! There’s Bills to write, Senators to contact, an apathetic public to educate, fellow patriots to organize with and candidates to find and promote.
Be involved with us and become part of the non-party Party. Our purpose is to rally real Patriots! Merging small streams into a RIVER OF PATRIOTS is our paramount mission. Begin by declaring “I AM an Independent American” and signing the IAP Independence Pledge.
The river awaits, come on in, the water’s fine.
