Libertarian Party of Virginia Gets Candidates on the Ballot in Six Legislative Districts

Libertarian Party of Virginia Candidates Succeed in Getting on Ballot in 6 Districts

(Arlington, June 20, 2013) — After an energetic statewide effort, six Libertarian Party of Virginia Candidates have succeeded in making acquiring enough petition signatures to be on the ballot in their districts.  Virginia law requires that each candidate for House of Delegates gather 125 signatures of registered voters in their Delegate districts.  This is the most amount of candidates the Libertarian Party of Virginia has run since the early 1990s.  The following candidates succeeded in getting on the ballot:

I just received word Patrick Hagerty made the ballot too.

So the Libertarian Party of Virginia now has 7 House of Delegates candidates, which will be a final total.

    It will still take a couple weeks to find out whether Robert Sarvis for Governor submitted enough valid signatures.

    There may be seven. Seven petitions succeeded but one of the seven may or may not be on depending on whether his financial statement was timely.
