My name is John Denney, and I have been endorsed by the Independence Party of Minnesota to run for Congress in Minnesota’s 6th district (Michelle Bachmann’s district). I consider myself to be socially inclusive and fiscally responsible, with a libertarian streak.
You have already reported on Hannah Nicollet seeking our endorsement for Senate. In the near future (May 17th) we will be endorsing for that race and many more candidate’s at our state convention. We have major party status here in Minnesota thanks in large part to Governor Ventura’s election in 98. This means, we are automatically on the ballot (we do not have to petition or collect signatures) and we are automatically invited to the debates.
The Independence Party of Minnesota is on the rise and one of the strongest third parties in the country. Watch for us to make noise this year in November with a core of young, energetic candidates and a push to bring the millennial generation under one banner.

Thanks for your time,
John Denney
Independence Party of Minnesota
CD6 Congressional Candidate

I think the moustache could run a very credile Whig or Pirate Party race.
Is the mustache running separately as an independent?
John Denney is running on the themes of economic growth and civil liberties. I plan to do an IPR post about his platform in the next day or two. If you don’t want to wait, go to http://www.JohnDenneyforCongress.com and see where he stands.
A smart man with a truly stupendous mustache.
