Keenan Wallace Dunham, a self-described “Mensa High IQ genius scientist”, has announced his intention to seek the Libertarian Party’s nomination for President of the United States in 2016. From the “About” section of his campaign website:
Libertarian Candidate for President of the United States, Keenan W. Dunham, is a Christian dedicated to family values and peace in the world. His campaign is executive run just as his White House will be: frugally budgeted, and science based. Keenan is solely in charge of things at Dunham Headquarters and voters will see that Keenan runs a very open, honest campaign dedicated to create jobs now through building the highest scientific industries. Keenan likes to refine a phrase Bill Clinton said to summarize his plans for the economy, “The resource economy fuels the industrial economy”. It’s not just “the economy”, we need to build up a United States-wide solar and wind energy base— which does not end over time and can be built tenaciously at a maximum capacity— which will produce a surplus of energy in all 50 states.
As you watch the videos on YouTube and read the implementation articles on this website, you will see Keenan has very detailed plans to unleash many new industries on the US markets to create yet another plateau of economy. Currently the targets of our campaign are Solar, Hemp, Wind, Geothermal, Tide, Space, Farming, Auto-Transportation, Computer Technology, and Education as new or growing industries. With a focus on energy resources we can fuel ALL these industries’ capacities in the US with all their capabilities growing in an intricate interwoven manner creating millions of jobs until all jobs are over the $40k mark. This is what is possible today and what Keenan has planned.
Keenan is a Mensa High IQ certified genius and has seen that industrial planning is what has been needed all these years instead of politics and ideologies. And Keenan is sure that he has the expertise in planning to unleash these industries on the economy through tax incentives and cutting red-tape. We will not build any industry in a socialist manner but be cutting red-tape for example on Solar to unleash Solar Power on all its manifold avenues on the following locations: cars, commercial buildings, gas stations, malls, roadways, homes, schools, energy farms, and government buildings. Basically, solar should be built anywhere but national parks.
Keenan would like for you to take time and imagine the possibilities with him of both a sustainable safe energy and an industry to invest in and sell to the world. Join us in envisioning a resource saturated United States which builds industry capacity for the US in every field and adds real value to the American Dollar.
Thank you and have a great day, America!

Mr. Dunham is also on Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube.

Thanks – me too 🙂
^Paulie – Great question! Looking forward to hearing Mr. Dunham’s response.
If you receive the nomination, will you campaign with local LP candidates, frequently mention the party in your interviews, campaign materials and public appearances, and share any inquiries/volunteers/contacts/donor info with the LP in as real time as possible?
So who do you support? Not an outsider like me then, but a money candidate? If that is what you want you are welcome to MORE CORRUPTION. I’m only 33 years old, I’m not going anywhere, and you do not impress me with any point of your own. About Israel, I would not give them any money and cut spending on Israel that is not humanitarian. My approach to foreign policy is to learn other languages and cultures and be a partner with many countries on GOALS WHICH ARE ENVIRONMENTALLY SUSTAINABLE, PEACEFUL, & PROSPERITY BUILDING FOR ALL. I am campaigning with new Scientific Ideas of my own and new approaches to these REVOLUTIONARY ISSUES I bring to public light and wish to keep attention on, such as Multi-Story Greenhousing which is useful for Organic Fresh Food, Ending World Hunger, Sustaining Local People, Creating Local Resource Economies, Arid Climates, Saving Space nearby Rain Forests, & adaptable to Space Missions and Space Colonization.
If you had watched my youtube videos you would see my ideas are Revolutions within Revolutions such as Hemp, Green Energy, Space Colonization, End Taxes, and Restoring Civil Liberties. They are my generation’s future and unlike Stewart Flood I don’t try to steal them from others or corner the Truth or Ideas. I don’t think you watched any of my campaign material Stewart and stating YOUR opinion about MY ancestors shows no love or honor to their memories and is very disrespectful.
I think you are confusing Politics and ideology with what I do which is Activism, where people love one another and work together. Look it up.
Descended from founding fathers? Yawn…who isn’t? Who cares about who’s ancestors signed the declaration or if your family members are in the DAR or SAR? Yeah, I have them too. Probably close to a hundred million of us can say that if they bothered to trace it. How many generations back are you to the revolution? Fifteen? Twenty? Try five.
Your right to run? Wow. Super impressed. Why does our state always seem to come up with crackpot presidential candidates? Last time it was the indigent living in a trailer and the guy who took a bus to the national convention, insisting that he was going to nominate his mother.
I want to see real fundraising plans, campaign organization, internal systems to organize volunteers, and your schedule to campaign at state conventions and events all over the country for the next year and a half.
Four point plans do not get you in front of voters. The campaign is not won on IPR, but it can be quickly lost.
My second question is: Should we continue to give money to Israel?
I’m off to bed now, so take your time in responding.
Okay, Keenan, can you talk a bit about what your approach to foreign policy would be?
I went to Steve French’s events. I am from Myrtle Beach, SC and was in contact with Steve and Collin Ross throughout the race. I traveled to Charleston twice during the campaign. I am new to politics so you have not heard of me unless perhaps you did some research to my presence on twitter, youtube, facebook, and Dunham2016.com I am not running on clout, personal attraction, or hollywood factors. I have a solid industrial 4 point Laissez-Faire plan. These are independent ideas I will campaign for as an activist henceforth in addition to a restoration of civil liberties. I take up my right to run for President and will be presenting my plan AND implementations. And I am descended from founding fathers on both sides of my family. Deacon John Dunham is my ancestor and was one of the “seven separatists” imprisoned in England before the Pilgrims left for New England. His son, Jonathan Dunham, was emissary to the Indians and also a Deacon his entire life. Also one of my ancestors is Nathaniel Arrants who served in the revolutionary army and drowned in the Chesapeake during the conflict in 1777. He left behind four sons. Only two of his sons survived childhood but they joined the new United States military and every generation unto today served in the military. Thank you for your time and diligent attention.
I would appreciate a question about my principles or one of the parts of my four point plan.
Campaigned for French? Where? When? Maybe that’s why French’s vote total was so low.
As far as I am aware, the SCLP has never heard of this guy. If he is in South Carolina, where is he?
Thank you 🙂 Please ask any more questions, I would love to answer any one.
Joe Wendt & a few others have something against Wyllie, the rest of us don’t get it. You’ll catch on eventually. 🙂
What’s wrong with Adrian Wyllie?
“I campaigned for Adrian Wyllie…”
Yeah, definitely will not support this guy.
“…can be accomplished by smart government …”
An oxymoron if there ever was one!
Hello there, this is Keenan Wallace Dunham, I have been campaigning for a year and mainly took that time to campaign for other candidates in State races. I met Steve French for Governor here in South Carolina, and went to his events. I campaigned for Adrian Wyllie, and Robert Sarvis, and I consider them heroes for keeping liberty alive and in the public eye. I think as Libertarians we have the opportunity to keep justice alive by highlighting the important scientific and justice issues in our campaigns, and I encourage many others to run in 2016. I have been a mensa member since childhood, but I don’t think this campaign is about me, I think it is about the main 5 issues and plans I am presenting in a Lassaiz-Faire manner.
1. End Political Targeting(Patriot Act, Homeland Security), 2. Legalize Hemp/MJ 100% for Medicine, industry, jobs, tax revenue, 3. Build Solar Energy Nationwide to generate industry, energy surplus, and land-lease revenue, 4. End Personal Income Tax for a 9% (non-food) sales tax to simplify taxes, end irs intrusion, & end the taxes on income yearly, and 5. Colonize Space to begin a massive effort to build moon mars and more bases, mine space for resources funding more space travel, expand space research for medicine, advancing computing, and any research benefiting from good Zero-G labs, and 100% Vacuum Labs.
I am against big government and waste for these plans. I want to 100% Legalize Marijuana to keep it out of government AND corporate hands. I want to lease land to private companies to build up Green Energy in facilities run by private companies not the government, and I want to keep this effective plan away from big government or state run facilities. And I want to Colonize Space based on revenue NASA generates by billionaires’ endowments, commercial space flight, research gains protected for all people not sold for profit, and space mining to generate revenue and resources for further travel. I believe if we focus on the resources that bring revenue to our economy we can fund the entire government based on revenues close to the same goals and branches and budget not ZERO years, but 1, 2, 5, and 20 years out for all branches.
When I present a scientific solution I always want to keep those Libertarian, Lassaiz-Faire and government “hands-off”, but I do think these can be accomplished by smart government and I have planned these for 3 years now. For example I think every state can have a plan for leasing government land for Green Energy build-up. I think there are many sciences and high technology industries we can currently tap, and I have studied these industries and technologies meticulously. I hope you will check out my plans I have laid out on my website and youtube, which is what I am running based on, my plans that is, not my IQ. I am just starting out, I’m 33, born July 16th, 1981 in Norfolk, Virginia. I want to contribute to the Libertarian Party and campaign for other State Candidates directly, and bring more people into the Libertarian Party by leading as an ethical Libertarian candidate. I believe libertarian is the best and truest American Philosophy. In fact securing the rights of others and protecting those is what I consider heroic American Libertarianism. For example, I don’t need Medical Marijuana Personally or have any desire to use it recreationally, but I want to secure that right for others because I think Marijuana can be made into effective (non-addictive) medicine many people need at this time, and there are many industries we can build prosperity and revenue from. I want to work with many people in planning and activism for these issues, and stay off corporate donations. Feel free to contact me at [email protected]
I campaign for these plans and ideas simultaneously with my campaign and work with many organizations to accomplish SO MUCH for United States Prosperity, and incredible science plans to aid millions of people like “Multi-Story Green House Farming”.
Thank you so much for checking out my campaign and please read all my campaign material and the many prosperity plans I have written in the past two years planning this campaign. Many of these are on Dunham2016.com and Youtube. Thank you God bless and have a great day!
Today I learned he was born in 1981, so he would be old enough.
He’ll vote for war if it comes up.
In a sense you are right, Ron Paul did vote to authorize the attack on Afghanistan. But he did also vote against invading Iraq. Rand Paul will vote to invade Iraq and Syria now.
“It appears that Senator Paul is going to offer an act to declare war on the Islamic State.”
Maybe he will propose a declaration of war and maybe he won’t. I seem to remember that Ron Paul offered to propose a declaration of war but either didn’t follow through or wasn’t permitted to. The more I hear people complaining about Rand Paul’s lack of Libertarianness the more I come across similarities between him and his father.
It would if it’s before inauguration day 🙂
I saw a comment from him made on May 19, 2014, in which he says, “I am 32 years old.” This makes it ambiguous as to whether he would be age 35 in time for inauguration day January 2017. He should tell us his birthdate. He was either born 1981 or 1982. If it was 1982, he wouldn’t meet the constitutional qualifications.
It appears that Senator Paul is going to offer an act to declare war on the Islamic State.
Libertarian Warmonger…our tent is so broad it’s like the Hotel in that movie…you can’t escape.

Yeah, that’s why it’s a work of fiction. Let’s start with firing every federal employee. If you think they would actually accept being fired, as opposed to say having psychiatrists certify that the president lost his mind and removing him from office, you need a reality-based enema for your brain. The rest of it is equally unrealistic.”
Firing all of the federal government employees is not what brings down the federal government in the book. You’d have to read the entire book, but the speech from the new President sets off a spark which lights the flames of discontent that was already growing in the country.
Yes, it is a work of fiction, but so is “Atlas Shrugged,” and “Unintended Consequences,” and “Molon Labe,” and etc…
I would recommend “The Iron Web” by Larken Rose as an entertaining read.
I would also highly recommend “How To Be A Successful Tyrant” and “The Most Dangerous Superstition,” both from Larken Rose as well.
There’s light at the end of that tunnel. It’s an oncoming train.

That doesn’t prove anything at all. Ron Paul isn’t above overlooking some policy differences due to family ties; so what?”
Maybe so, maybe not. Perhaps the passage of time will shed light on the truth of the matter.

‘Just imagine if Rand Paul gets elected President, and then gives a speech like this at his first State of the Union address’
Let me guess. Assassination, coup, impeachment and removal by congress, or removal from office for psychiatric reasons? White house pelted with so many eggs that everyone inside gets buried alive? So many possibilities here….”
After the character in the Larken Rose novel, “The Iron Web,” gives the above speech to Congress (which goes longer than what is in the video above, and includes exposing the previous President for being involved in a false flag terror attack where the government shot down an airline and blamed it on a group of anarchist libertarians), the President character goes on to fire every employee of the federal government, and then he walks off stage and flies off to live with a community of anarchist libertarians in a rural area in northern Arizona. The country then breaks out in revolution and some states secede from the union. The politicians in some states start to get nervous and start passing libertarian reforms out of fear of violence from the population. Anti-government types break into government offices of the CIA, FBI, and the Pentagon and start releasing government files to the public about the JFK assassination, 9/11, etc… Public trust in government goes down. A new era of freedom is born.
That doesn’t prove anything at all. Ron Paul isn’t above overlooking some policy differences due to family ties; so what?
Paul said: “So? I disagree with my father even more than he disagrees with his.”
Yes, and your father is not actively involved in your political endeavors, unlike how Ron Paul has been involved with Rand Paul’s political endeavors.
I’ve tried to keep threads on topic before. It didn’t work.
Most likely he would not govern any more libertarian than his rhetoric before being elected, if anything – less so.
The candidate in the article appears to advocate Libertarian state central planning, not to mention a capital levy on banks.
His claims to be a Libertarian are…ummh.. unique.
Good question and good point.
Paul said: “Have you considered that the possibility that his libertarian supporters are the ones getting worked? He could just as easily be less libertarian than he says in public as more.”
Sure, this is possible, but so is what I said above. Maybe time will tell what the real story is.
Let me guess. Assassination, coup, impeachment and removal by congress, or removal from office for psychiatric reasons? White house pelted with so many eggs that everyone inside gets buried alive? So many possibilities here….
Have you considered the possibility that his libertarian supporters are the ones getting worked? He could just as easily be less libertarian than he says in public as more.
So? I disagree with my father even more than he disagrees with his.
I believe he is a secret libertarian who will usher in a new libertarian order…about as much as I believe he is a secret nazi and has Hitler’s head and brain kept alive in a jar in his office giving him instructions.
Yep!
None of which went against his campaign promises, his rhetoric over many years before he became president, nor his record as governor.
Rand Paul has mixed positions on these issues.
Who’s the other one?
Was that when he was Governor of CA? Granted he was elected to an office then but I am guessing you mean president. As governor, Reagan grew government so much that Democrat Jerry Brown cut government after him.
And, per wikipedia:
Maybe it was during his 1980 presidential campaign, launched symbolically in Philadelphia, Mississippi (site of the infamous murders of civil rights workers) with a speech about States Rights. One of his main campaign themes was further expanding the military. “The Moral Majority was a relatively early supporter of Reagan, with Falwell announcing the organization’s endorsement of Reagan before the Republican convention…..Reagan sought the input from the Moral Majority leadership during his campaign.” -wikipedia.
“Some issues for which the Moral Majority campaigned included:
Censorship of media outlets that promote an “anti-family” agenda
Enforcement of a traditional vision of family life
Opposition to the Equal Rights Amendment and Strategic Arms Limitation Talks
Opposition to state recognition and acceptance of homosexual acts, as well as the civil rights of gays and lesbians.
Outlawing abortion, even in cases involving incest, rape or in pregnancies where the life of the mother is at stake.
Support for mandated Christian prayers in schools
Targeting Jews and other non-Christians for conversion to conservative Christianity”
And:
They were “said to have played a significant role in the election of President Ronald Reagan in 1980 and dozens of imitators were founded including Concerned Women for America, American Coalition for Traditional Values, and the Christian Coalition.”
Perhaps it was even earlier than that, before Reagan was elected governor?
Like when he shilled for government crony megacorporation and military contractor GE? Or before that, when he was a union boss and FBI informant in Hollywood?
When in his life was Reagan ever “pretty libertarian”?
The myth of Reagan appears to trump the actual man. People are so enamored with what he said as opposed to actually did. Obama, to me, is the progressive version of Reagan. All talk, no walk but the people who bought the talk, imagine there’s a walk to go with it. Despite all evidence to the contrary.
As for Mr. Dunham, I will do some research and welcome all challenges to Governor Johnson.
Look at those guys in the Larken Rose youtube at the end of Andy’s 5:03 email:
They’re all the same!!!
What has this gentleman done so far in the Libertarian Party?
I believe we may have established some precedent running relatively newcomers to the LP for President, but they held jobs like Governor and Congressman with some other party which this fella doesn’t have on his cv.

Kind of reminds me of the 60’s song “It’s Good News Week” by the Hedgehoppers Anonymous!

This guy doesn’t sound very libertarian to me.

I’m aware of all those things. I also know what will happen if Randall is elected President. Argue all you want, just wait & see.”
I doubt that Rand Paul will ever be elected President, but if he is, have you ever considered the possibility that he has been “working” everybody, as in that he could be pretending to suck up to the Republican establishment just so he can get elected? Remember, Rand Paul is a guy who grew up with Ron Paul as his father. Rand grew up in a house that had books by Murray Rothbard, Ludwig von Mises, and other libertarian philosophers laying around. Just imagine the lively political discussions that happened at the Paul dinner table when Rand was growing up.
Rand Paul could be doing what a character in the novel “The Iron Web” by Larken Rose did, and that is he could be lying to the Republican establishment just to get elected. I hate to give away part of the plot to the book, but there was a character in “The Iron Web” who pretended to be a “mainstream politician,” just so he could suck up to the political establishment and get elected President, and then after being elected President, he “came out of the closet” and revealed himself to be a hardcore libertarian.
Just imagine if Rand Paul gets elected President, and then gives a speech like this at his first State of the Union address:
Larken Rose: I Lied to Get Elected

“Jump up my ass all you want, I’m the one that’s actually paying attention. It’s not my fault others view the guy with rose-colored glasses just because of his last name.”
I never said that Rand Paul is perfect. I’m just saying that he’s more libertarian than Ronald Reagan ever was.
Ronald Reagan was never a libertarian. When he was Governor of California, he signed a bill called the Mulford Act, which was a gun control law, which made it illegal for people to carry guns in their car (as in the passenger part of the car, the guns had to be locked in the trunk). Ronald Reagan was also a life long drug warrior.
I’m aware of all those things. I also know what will happen if Randall is elected President. Argue all you want, just wait & see.
Regardless, this is a thread about Keenan Dunham, not Rand Paul.
“THAT is not an opinion, it’s a guarantee.”
No it is your opinion.
In 1980, Ronald Reagan campaigned for increased military funding, greater interference in European affairs, confrontation with the Soviet Union, and strengthening of federal programs like Social Security. http://www.4president.org/brochures/reagan1980brochure2.htm
Rand Paul on Foreign Policy: http://www.ontheissues.org/International/Rand_Paul_Foreign_Policy.htm
Rand Paul on Drug Policy: http://www.ontheissues.org/Domestic/Rand_Paul_Drugs.htm
“Ronald Reagan intervened militarily multiple times in the Middle East and Latin America, and strengthened the war on drugs. These are not Libertarian things. Compare that with Rand Paul’s position on military intervention and the war on drugs.”
*facepalm*
Again, I’m speaking about Reagan BEFORE he became President. Reagan as president was an authoritarian nightmare. Rand Paul will be far, far worse, mark my words. THAT is not an opinion, it’s a guarantee.
Also, what exactly has Rand Paul done to end military interventions? End the war on drugs? Did he vote for or against sanctions on Iran? Are we really going to accept one (not really a) filibuster that was a PR move proof that he’s not a neocon?
Rose. Colored. Glasses.
I still prefer either Darryl Perry, George Phillies, or Chuck Moulton
Jed,
You’ve provided very thin evidence. I don’t think this is a matter of being informed. It’s a matter of opinion.
Ronald Reagan intervened militarily multiple times in the Middle East and Latin America, and strengthened the war on drugs. These are not Libertarian things. Compare that with Rand Paul’s position on military intervention and the war on drugs.
“Mensa High IQ genius scientist”
I guess that makes two self-proclaimed Mensa members currently running for the Libertarian Party’s presidential nomination.
“I do not see any evidence to back this up.”
Fine. I’m tired of being asked to cite specific evidence, frankly most of the time I don’t have time to Google specific articles, I know these things because I pay attention, but I will put more pressing work aside to inform the uninformed.
On gold:
Ronald Reagan (pre-Presidency): http://www.dailypaul.com/181211/ronald-reagan-old-campaign-ad-i-will-bring-back-the-gold-standard
Of course, Reagan did not bring back the gold standard. In Brian Doherty’s book ‘Ron Paul’s Revolution’, he discusses Ron Paul’s early support of Ronald Reagan, and why he left the GOP during his presidency.
What, exactly, has Rand Paul done to end the Fed and either bring back the gold standard, or competing currencies?
On immigration, Reagan was for the very libertarian idea of open boarders: http://reason.com/blog/2014/11/21/friday-av-club-what-gop-immigration-poli
Rand Paul says we must secure the border: http://groundreport.com/we-must-first-secure-the-border-said-senator-rand-paul/
He didn’t even have the balls to talk to an immigration activist: http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=253_1407263205
Jump up my ass all you want, I’m the one that’s actually paying attention. It’s not my fault others view the guy with rose-colored glasses just because of his last name.
“Keenan Wallace Dunham, a self-described “Mensa High IQ genius scientist”, has announced his intention to seek the Libertarian Party’s nomination for President of the United States in 2016.”
I’ve never heard of this guy. He’s got a long way to go if he wants to win the nomination.
Jed Ziggler: “Keep in mind these are often the same libertarians who are actively promoting Rand Paul, and he’s even less libertarian than Reagan was.”
I do not see any evidence to back this up.
My big problem was that Reagan was caught selling weapons to our enemies. Oddly, people seem to have forgotten that.
The Pope could just be a religious thing, I’ll leave that one go. Not one of my “heroes”, that’s for sure.
There seems to be a number of libertarians who are enamored with Reagan, including Kennedy. Frankly I don’t get it. Reagan was pretty libertarian until he actually got into office, and then he stopped being the gold-standard-loving Reagan that got him there, and became a firm right-winger. Keep in mind these are often the same libertarians who are actively promoting Rand Paul, and he’s even less libertarian than Reagan was.
Well, his “heroes” section is interesting. The first 3/4 was good, but then Reagan and the Pope showed up. Needless to say, neither of those men would show up in my “heroes” list.
This appears to be an interesting individual, and I will watch his campaign with interest.
