Meet “No Party” Presidential Candidate Tami Stainfield

Tami Stainfield, who ran for President in 2012 and U.S. Senator from West Virginia in 2014 (and received 0 votes both times), is apparently running for president once again. Stainfield claims to be a victim of “brain & body torture”. The “about” section of her campaign website delves into her experience:

Her interest in politics started in eighth grade, when she participated in the Know Your Government Tour. Additionally, she was a member of the Girl Scouts and 4-H civic organizations. Tami was recognized as an all-around student; however, she excelled in athletics. In 1979, she participated in the New England Track & Field Championship and in 1980 she was recognized as a High School All-American.

In 1980, Tami went to Indiana State University where she received an athletic scholarship for field hockey and in 1985 she was awarded a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science.

Since her graduation from college, Tami has lived and worked in nine states, with careers in banking, education, healthcare, information technology, building automation and energy conservation. She has eighteen years of enterprise selling experience, focused on analyzing and providing strategic and consultative solutions for business problems.

She worked for three Fortune 500 Companies, Johnson Controls, NCR and Sodexho, and sold to numerous multinationals. Additionally, Tami worked for several small and regional companies, including Cheshire County Savings Bank, National Education Training Group and CBT Systems (now known as Skillsoft).

Tami’s professional achievements can be attributed to her excellent analytical, communication, managerial, negotiation and technical proficiencies.

In 2003, after achieving another year of financial and business success, Tami left her comfortable corporate life to discover Africa. In 2009, she received a Masters in Development from the Political Studies Department of The University of Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, South Africa. Her research topic was, Why did the World Health Organization (WHO) and Joint United Nations Programme on HIV/AIDS (UNAIDS) endorse male circumcision as a public health initiative for HIV prevention in sub-Saharan Africa?
