Mark Wachtler: ‘Independents Sanders and Trump rocking the Establishment’

Mark Wachtler at Opposition news:

July 11, 2015. Brooklyn, NY. (ONN) As the voice of America’s political opposition, we at Opposition News are giddy as we watch two of our own – Bernie Sanders and Donald Trump – wreak havoc from inside the two establishment Parties. How the Parties let Bernie in, or haven’t kicked the Donald out, is beyond me. Half our readers hate Sanders and the other half hate Trump. But we love them both because they both speak truth to power. Even more, they have the proven courage, strength and resolve to withstand the most brutal threats and attacks a corrupt political system has to offer.

Independent US Senator Bernie Sanders (I-VT) and the phoenix of Wall Street Donald Trump have a lot more in common than most people are aware of. For one, neither is a Party hack toeing the Party line or a puppet of the special interests that fund political careers. Sanders doesn’t accept corporate or PAC donations and Donald Trump doesn’t need them. More importantly, they’re both decades-long proven political independents.

Wachtler goes on to conclude:

On behalf of the various Parties of America’s political opposition, not to mention the tens of millions of independent voters, we at Opposition News are going to try and stay out of the Democrat and Republican Parties’ Primary process. But that doesn’t stop us from recognizing two independent candidates taking on the establishment – the same establishment we all fight every day – and rooting for both of them. If nothing else, they are getting many of our collective messages out.

If this author and his 25 years of campaign experience has one piece of advice for both Bernie Sanders and Donald Trump, it’s don’t trust the Primary process. As Ron Paul and his supporters found out in 2012, Primaries and Caucuses are Party functions, not government-run elections. The Party leaders make, and break, the rules to achieve the preordained outcome. And one thing is for certain – Donald Trump and Bernie Sanders are the last people the corrupt Washington-Wall Street oligarchy wants to see win the nominations. That may be the biggest reason of all so many Americans are cheering for them both.
