I was listening to 92.3 HD 2 (The Saints Channel) today at work and they mentioned Joseph Smith’s campaign for president. Looking at the Wikipedia article is appears that he ran in 1844 affiliated with the Reform Party (using the Wikipedia terminology).

The accused includes a former gubernatorial candidate and libertarian activist who changed his last name to Freeman; a man with a lengthy criminal record who changed his legal name to Nobody; and a transgender woman who identifies as a Satanist who lost a bid for Cheshire county sheriff last year.
So it seems that actual LP members and candidates are among the accused.
