POLITICO: Andrew Yang Plans to Launch New Third Party

Former Democratic presidential candidate Andrew Yang is plotting the launch of a new third party next month, POLITICO reports today.

Yang, who lost a bid for New York mayor earlier this year, is said to no longer personally identify as a Democrat.  It’s unclear if Yang’s new party will be a national effort or confined to New York state, where fusion could allow the party to cross-nominate candidates friendly to Yang’s Universal Basic Income proposal.… Read more ...

LNC Taps Whitney Bilyeu of Texas as New Chair

The Libertarian National Committee has announced that Whitney Bilyeu of Texas will serve as the new Chair of the LNC.

“Her natural ability to lead and her drive for excellence make her an outstanding choice for the position,” the LNC said via press release.

The LNC convened a special session to fill the vacancy left by Joe Bishop-Henchman’s resignation in June.… Read more ...

Kentucky LP Takes Heat For Comparing ‘Vaccine Passports’ to Holocaust Badges

World Report: Germany’s Green Party Experiences Surge of Support Ahead of Key Vote

WASHINGTON POST:  Germany’s Green Party has seen a strong upswing in polling support over the past few months.  That strength is now being translated to big showings in regional elections.

Green Party Calls on Congress to Pass a $4 Trillion Green Economic Stimulus Package

The Green Party of the United States is calling for President Biden and Congress to provide $2.7 trillion annually for a Green New Deal economic stimulus to “reboot the economy and transition the country to a 100% renewable energy system with zero emissions by 2030.”
