The Green Party is hosting a live webinar on Tuesday, January 25 at 9:00 pm Eastern to help recruit and inspire potential Green candidates for future elections.

A panel discussion will include three current Green officeholders who will talk about their campaigns and what they’re accomplishing as elected officials.

Libertarian Party Reiterates Demand for Guantanamo Bay Detention Camp to ‘Close Immediately’

Whitney Bilyeu, chair of the Libertarian Party’s National Committee, issued the following statement which reiterates the LP’s long-held position that the Guantanamo Bay detention facility should be immediately closed:

Maine Legislator John Andrews Switches Registration from Libertarian to Republican

Maine state representative John Andrews has switched his registration back to Republican. The change happened at the end of 2021, as he feared that a legal battle might have kept the Libertarian Party off the ballot in Maine.

“I was a Republican before and many of my principles are aligned with them,” Andrews told the Bangor Daily News while explaining his party switch.… Read more ...

Illinois Greens Endorse Chicago Teachers Union in Fight Over Distance Learning

The Illinois Green Party has released a statement stressing that the party “wholeheartedly supports the Chicago Teachers Union (CTU) in its struggle with the Chicago Public Schools over in-person learning and school safety.”
