Alabama polling: The polling firm Cygnal, for Alabama Daily News and Gray Television, reports:
Governor: 4.7 percent for Libertarian Jimmy Blake.
U.S. Senate: 6.3 percent for Libertarian John Sophocleus
Secretary of State: 4.6 percent from Libertarian Jason “Matt” Shelby.
There are also Republicans and Democrats in these races.
We have two Massachusetts polls, Suffolk Poll and U Mass Poll, for three third parties and their candidates. For State Treasurer, the Republicans did not field a candidate. I list the office, the party, the candidate name, and two percentages, one from each poll. For Auditor, where five parties are running candidates, Libertarian Daniel Riek is at 5% of the vote, matching our candidate for Governor, so these appear to be actual Libertarian votes, not protest votes. The other two third parties are not drawing votes away from the Libertarian.
The second poll misidentified Cris Crawford as a Republican. In that poll she outperformed every other statewide Republican candidate.

Thanks Ryan, for publicizing James Sceniak appearance on Fox Business. I just found his YouTube channel and he mentioned that event in his latest video. In the video he answers questions that were asked of the other two candidates for US Senate in a recent debate forum that he was not invited to participate in.
A new Data for Progress poll in New Hampshire puts Libertarian Senate candidate Jeremy Kauffman at 3% and Libertarian Governor candidate Kelly Halldorson at 3% — the other Libertarian candidate for Governor was not polled. The poll showed the Democratic Senate incombent and the Republican Governor incumbent in the lead for re-election.
Well good if they can do it.
Indiana U.S. Senate candidate James Sceniak was on national TV Monday night, Kennedy on Fox Business.
A correspondent is in receipt of an email, purporting to be from Michael Heiss, proposing to recruit 5,000 new Libertarian Party members within a short period of time, perhaps by election day or the end of the year.
Trafalgar Group has Chase Oliver, Libertarian candidate for US Senate in Georgia, at 4.6%. The other two candidates are sufficiently close to each other that a run-off election appears likely, since neither of the other two candidates appears likely to cross the required 50% of the vote to win.

This is the New Hampshire Senate race. Jeremy Kauffman is at 1%.
KZNU 1450 AM radio endorsed Joe Buchman for State Treasurer of Utah.
At last report, the Libertarian candidates for Governor of New Hampshire total just below the 4% line needed for political party status, a status that in New Hampshire actually helps candidates to get onto the ballot.
The report data shows a line item for events and convention.

As far as general fundraising and membership goes 2022 seems way behind inflation adjusted 2018.
I am using 2018 as it and 2022 are both midterm election years.
Todd Hagopian’s report on September LNC finances gives thoughtful analysis. He reports: “Cash Reserve Remains Strong, despite candidate support & ballot access spending – No Concerns. Strong new member recruitment month. Beginning to prove that we can successfully fundraise without the costly direct mail component.”
For the year to date, revenue is $226,000 under budget, notable drops to date being $126,000 in Project Program Revenue, $67,500 in Board/ED solicitation, and $71,000 in dues and donations. However, convention revenue is reported as $375,000, $35,000 above expected, while convention cost is reported as $240,000, so the convention net was apparently $135,000.
Fundraising expenses show the convention expenses came in $77,000 under budget, and Fundraising and membership fundrasing between them came $30,000 under budget. Hagopian noted that the LNC has considerably reduced direct mail fundraising.
The large reductions in spending were $153,000 for reduced compensation and $77,000 for the convention.
The net result was that the LNC for the year to date is $44,000 in the black rather than the budgeted $30,000 in the red.

To keep even with inflation adjusted 2018 donations not including the convention the LNC would need to raise 1.76 million for the year. As of the end of September they have raised 1.34 million and thus need 420k more in the last 3 months. The LNC averaged 113k per month last quarter and so looks to come up short. Being mostly after the election I expect donations to fall for the last quarter.
Spending wise if the convention hadn’t been so lucrative the LNC would be well into the red. Packing the convention might be all that saved the LNC this year.

There is a large bump in income with the convention, month-to-month is irregular, but the reserve fund did not take a hit this month. Instead, income was up a bit, and expenses were well-controlled. The report and discussion speak of an intent to move away from direct mail fundraising that so far has greatly reduced fundraising expenses but has not reduced income.

So, Marc Victor does well in a debate and polls at 15%. The Mises Caucus gives Dave Smith $4,000. And Dave Smith turns around and starts supporting Victor’s Republican opponent, Blake Masters.

Lifting numbers from the Mises Caucus FEC filings, we find that the Mises Caucus among other things has supported financially two state parties (Pennsylvania, Oregon) and a candidate (Kelly Carden, Kern County Board of Supervisors).

In 2012, Marc Victor ran for Senate against Jeff Flake, and I read about Mr Victor at the time. Marc Victor is a lawyer, and shortly before the 2012 election, he got a client found innocent after they arrested him with 82 pounds of marijuana.
In 2012, Marc Victor received 102,000 votes for Senate, 4.5%, running against Sen Flake, who on many issues found himself on the side of libertarians. Against the two choices this year, a vote for Marc Victor is a clear vote for freedom.
In Massachusetts, there are four Libertarian candidates for statewide office, and one Libertarian candidate, Mark Tashjian, running for Congress. The Massachusetts Republican Party is so decrepit (9% of the registered voters are Republicans) that it failed to qualify a candidate for Treasurer, as a result of which Libertarian Cris Crawford is in a two-candidate race for the post. Other third-party candidates running for statewide office include two Green-Rainbow party candidates and one Workers party candidate.
