The Green Party of Illinois concludes its party-run presidential primary later today (3.15.2024). Party members had from March 2, 2024, to request a ballot online. Recognized candidates include Jill Stein, Jorge Zavala, and Jasmine Sherman. Illinois has 20 delegates to the Green Party’s Presidential Nominating Convention.
Dr. Jill Stein has declared that she is running for the Green Party presidential nomination. She joins a packed field of candidates who largely don’t meet the criteria set by the party for its presidential candidates. Proper article discussing her announcement coming soon.
Emerson College Polling reports a poll of Michigan for the 2024 Presidential Election. Cornel West was at 4% of the vote. Trump and Biden were at 43% and 41%, respectively.
