LNC Income Continues Low

The income of the Libertarian National Committee continues to be at a very low level.

The total income was $78,205 for March. That includes $55,430 in unitemized donations and $21,758 in itemized donations, of which a bit under $9,000 appeared as large or first-time donations.

Four years ago, the totals were $78,791 in unitemized receipts and $86,035 in itemized receipts. The decrease from 2019 to 2023 is primarily in the large donations.

Expenditures in March 2023 were $101,200.

    Dale,

The lnc doesn’t have to drain anything because state parties are real groups and supposed to be largely independent of and superior to the national party by design, much as with states themselves in the original design of the US government. Thus state parties which don’t kowtow to top down national party are not fake just because the national party doesn’t like them. I realize the Heisesians have other claims as to why every state party faction that happens not to side with them is wrong, but it really just boils down to not kissing their ring with a lot of extra window dressing thrown in for appearances.

Suing them is a choice, not an obligation. It’s also a waste of time, because legal precedents indicate these lawsuits are highly unlikely to succeed. Even if they did, they would be pyrrhic victories. Even if that wasn’t true, the income of the national party being down is the fault of the national leadership, not of anyone who doesn’t agree with them. How they choose to use (or in my opinion and that of lots of people, waste) such resources as they do have is a separate matter.

This is an intentional move by the fake groups. Cause a split so the LNC has to drain the treasury in legal fees in order to protect their name. The fake groups then try to swoop in in ‘24.

But they are better at suing factions of state parties which don’t kiss their ring, playing musical chairs with lnc titles, and putting out controversial social media. Everyone has to have priorities, and the heise Pac has theirs.
