Earlier today (07 Nov 2023) former Republican Maryland Governor, and current co-chair of No Labels, Larry Joseph Hogan, Jr., posted the following 90-second video criticizing Republicans and Democrats who have called for restraint in military spending. The video titled “Allies,” includes the line: “This looks like World War III” and calls for additional US taxpayer (debt funded) support of South Korea, Israel, and Ukraine; as well as for what is depicted as a “New Cold War” with China.
The Governor-Larry-Hogan X account (@LarryHogan) posted a link to the advertisement above with the following message:
“We launched a new ad on Election Day today: “America is strongest when we stand united with our allies. At this dangerous moment, that’s the leadership we need. Unfortunately, neither party is delivering it.” Let me know what you think and if voting is taking place in your state please get out and vote!”
A second tweet @LarryHogan was later simplified to:
“Hogan drops new ad as he weighs Third-Party bid for President”
Some have speculated that the video is, in effect, the first advertisement in what will soon become Gov. Hogan’s run for President of the United States as a self-described “Ronald Reagan” Independent candidate.

I don’t think he is going to run. He is like the others a true party man.
