Libertarians in Tennessee will gather in Kingsport later this month for their annual state convention. The convention will span two days, featuring several public speakers and networking opportunities, among other party business.
According to information distributed by the Libertarian Party of Tennessee, the convention will run from April 13 to April 14, 2024, at the Kingsport Marriott Meadowview Conference Center. The convention is open to both members and guests. Additionally, there will be a gala portion; however, to attend, participants must purchase tickets. Scheduled events for Saturday include selecting delegates for the Libertarian National Convention in May, hearing from local candidates, and hosting workshops on homesteading and grassroots mobilization, among other topics. On Sunday, members will deliberate and vote on potential bylaw amendments.
Several speakers are confirmed for the gala portion of the convention, with the potential for more to be added as the event draws closer. Confirmed speakers include former Mises Institute President Jeff Deist, Diego Rivera from Bring Our Troops Home, and Libertarian Party of Tennessee Chair Josiah Baker.
