Libertarian National Committee Vice Chair Paul Darr is hosting monthly meetings to give Libertarian Party members an opportunity to ask questions about the national committee or his personal background.
Independent Political Report first learned of the sessions this week. Darr began holding his “Ask Me Anything” meetings in April, with a recurring schedule set for the first Tuesday of each month at 9:00 PM EDT. His most recent event took place this Tuesday, with the next scheduled for June 3.
The sessions are hosted using the Jitsi Meet app, with reminders sent via Darr’s personal newsletter. Participants are allowed to ask one question at a time, which may relate to the Libertarian National Committee and its activities, Darr’s voting record on specific motions, or questions directed to Darr personally.
Darr was elected vice chair of the Libertarian National Committee in February, alongside Steven Nekhaila, who was elected chair. He replaced Mark Rutherford. Darr also serves as secretary of the Libertarian Party of Bexar County in Texas and holds the same position with the Libertarian Party Classical Liberal Caucus.
