The Conservative Party of New York State has released its 2025 National Affairs Platform, calling the policy outline a roadmap for safeguarding constitutional freedoms, strengthening families, and promoting economic growth in New York and across the United States.
In a September 9 statement on social media, the party publicly unveiled the platform and said a full version is available on its website. The document was originally adopted during an August 28 State Executive Committee meeting in Goshen and later shared that evening with guests at a reception, alongside other party business.
“The New York State Conservative Party fights for freedom,” the preamble reads. “This National Affairs Platform is our statement of what must be done to defend the Constitution and keep America free.”
The updated platform outlines the party’s positions on a range of federal issues, including family values, support for the Department of Government Efficiency, bringing businesses with offshore plants back to the United States, eliminating the Department of Education, and completing the Keystone XL Pipeline. It also details several foreign policy stances, including barring foreign aid to countries assisting Russia and China, full support for Israel, modernization of the U.S. strategic nuclear inventory, and supporting Ukraine “with all non-nuclear military equipment needed” against Russia.
Party leaders further praised Republican President Donald Trump for advancing policies aligned with the platform and pledged continued support for his administration.
“President Trump has taken ideas we’ve championed for years and turned them into reality — from ending open-borders madness, to unleashing American energy, to defending free speech against federal censorship,” said Gerard Kassar, Chair of the New York State Conservative Party. “In fact, the president has been so responsive that the party needed to update its federal agenda to keep up with his accomplishments.”
The preamble also includes a list of several dozen Trump administration executive orders that the party says are consistent with its national priorities.
