The Constitution Party of New Hampshire is hosting a public discussion with its leadership team to explore the party’s recent organizing activities. The event will also include an update from Edmond Laplante, the party’s candidate for U.S. Senate in the 2026 election.
In details shared this week, the party said the discussion will explore its recent activities, as well as what the organization has planned for the 2026 election cycle. The event will take place as an X Space scheduled for 8:00 PM ET on New Year’s Eve. While the party did not provide details on what activities it would discuss, it has previously indicated plans to participate in New Hampshire’s March for Life in early January and most recently had members involved in a local craft fair held in Loudon.
As part of the event, Laplante is expected to give what the party calls “an exciting update” on his U.S. Senate bid. Laplante formally launched his campaign in September, stating at the time that he would focus on issues including homeschooling freedom, an America First approach, and academic excellence.
While Laplante has not stated how he intends to run, having previously competed in the 2022 Republican U.S. Senate primary, he has been open about his involvement with the Constitution Party on social media, and the party has identified him as its candidate in the race.
The party has also since stated that Laplante will attend the Concord Shriner’s Gun Show at the start of the new year, where he will begin collecting signatures to qualify for the ballot. As the Constitution Party of New Hampshire is not recognized by the Secretary of State’s office, Laplante would be required to pay a $100 filing fee and submit 3,000 signatures by early next summer if he intends to seek ballot access under the party’s label.

Would be interesting to hear a comparison between Constitution and Libertarian Parties of NH.
