The Libertarian National Committee has released a list of members who will serve on the party’s 2026 Credentials Committee, along with a partial list of those appointed to the Platform Committee, both of which will play key roles in preparations for the Libertarian Party’s 2026 national convention.
In a January 17 thread shared to the LNC public Business List, Vice Chair Paul Darr confirmed the names of both committees’ members. The information has since been added to the Libertarian Party’s national website, with a public discussion list to be established for the Platform Committee once the committee has been fully populated. The Credentials Committee is a confidential committee that does not have a public discussion list.
The Credentials Committee is responsible for reviewing and verifying delegate credentials and determining which delegates and alternates are properly seated at the national convention. The committee consists of 10 members, with five appointed by the Libertarian National Committee and five selected by the largest state affiliates based on national sustaining membership totals.
LNC-appointed members include Ken Moellman, Susan Hogarth, Jami Van Alstine, Joe Hannoush, and Tyler Danke. State affiliate selections include Jessica Tewksberry of California, with Mimi Robson named as an alternate; Chance Haywood of New York; Scott Peterson of Texas; Courtney Turner of Pennsylvania; and Ken Willey of Florida.
Meanwhile, the Platform Committee is tasked with reviewing proposed changes to the Libertarian Party platform and preparing recommendations for consideration by convention delegates. The committee may include up to 20 members, with appointments divided between the LNC and similarly qualifying state affiliates.
As of Darr’s email, the Platform Committee is only partially filled. National appointees include Keith Thompson, Michael Seebeck, Jay Gillotte, Tony D’Orazio, and Stephanie Berlin, with Russell Brooksbank serving as an alternate. State-appointed members include Rachel Nyx of California, with Wes Martin as an alternate; Allison Spink of Colorado, with Bette Rose Ryan as an alternate; Larry Gillis of Florida; Ken Mattes of Illinois; Rose Leatherman of New York; Brittany Kosin of Pennsylvania; Ted Brown of Texas; and Matt Cholko of Virginia.
Several vacancies remain on the Platform Committee. States without appointed members include Alaska, Indiana, Michigan, New Hampshire, Ohio, Washington, and Wyoming. According to Darr’s email, state chairs from those affiliates have been asked to contact the national secretary regarding appointments.

Nevermind. Texas was just on the ball. But Ted Brown is interim Chair.
Ted Brown was selected by the LNC, I believe, and was appointed interim Chair, back in December?
