Michigan Natural Law Party chooses Rocky Anderson for President

As Richard Winger reports at Ballot Access News, the Michigan Natural Law Party, one of the remnants of the now defunct national Natural Law Party, has nominated Justice Party nominee, former Salt Lake City Mayor Rocky Anderson for president, giving him ballot access in the swing state of Michigan.

In addition to Michigan, Anderson has already secured access in Colorado, Mississippi, New Jersey, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah, and Washington.

He had attempted to appear on the California ballot as the Peace and Freedom Party nominee, but withdrew before Saturday’s convention, where comedienne Roseanne Barr was nominated.

    More like last remaining remnant…

That is unfortunate. I had petitioned the entire Natural Law Party of Michigan, aka Doug Dern, to nominate Boston Tea Party Candidate Jim Duensing, particularly as Ruth Johnson is still trying to block Gary Johnson from being on the ballot in Michigan, having at least somebody who likes liberty would have been a better choice.

Added socialist/left category since that is Justice Party, hope that’s OK.

    Great post.

Yeah, if no one else posts that by tonight, NewFed, I will.

He is also reporting that Americans Elect has nominated Gary Johnson for president in Oklahoma.
