FEE’s mission is to offer the most consistent case for the “first principles” of freedom: the sanctity of private property, individual liberty, the rule of law, the free market, and the moral superiority of individual choice and responsibility over coercion. | “The Advocates has made invaluable contributions to the freedom cause. For over twenty years, the Advocates has worked tirelessly to help libertarians better communicate the ideas of liberty. I continue to be impressed by the Advocates’ work.” – Congressman Ron Paul | In an era of sound bites and partisanship, Cato remains dedicated to providing clear, thoughtful, and independent analysis on vital public policy issues. | Laissez-Faire Books has been publishing and distributing books on liberty, with a focus on economics and finance, since 1972. | | Freedom to Marry is leading the campaign to overturn DOMA and is working across the country to win marriage in more states and educate the public about why marriage matters to same-sex couples and their families. |

| Great news everyone! Noted Libertarian orator and author of Secrets of Libertarian Persuasion and Big Government is the Disease – and Only Libertarians Have the Cure, Michael Cloud, is coming to the Libertarian Party of North Carolina State Convention in a few weeks, and you can be one of the first to hear his latest riveting presentation, “The Impossibility Trap.”We are THRILLED to have Michael speak. Having heard this presentation at the LSLA Conference in Denver, where he gave this presentation, I believe that it is right on target for us. Today, we find ourselves at an important stage in our development.. The stage where we’ve developed enough critical mass that we can discuss with others the lack of logic in the “wasting your vote” argument. In his unique and electric style, Michael provides us with tools to convince others to join the Libertarian Party and take it to the next level. Michael Cloud is not the only top-tier speaker coming to this year’s convention. Michael Pearlmutter, executive director of the Institute of Political Leadership, will also speak. Additionally, we will also have Evan McMahon, the Libertarian National Campaign Committee’s new Executive Director. JJ Summerell Chairman |

@1 Good eye. Fixed (on IPR).
I am looking forward to returning to my home state of NC.
I will be screening the film “Nullification; The Rightful Remedy” on behalf of the Foundation For A Free Society.
Also, I will be conducting a break-out session on nullification.
I am humbled to be included with such a wonderful line up of speakers.
Kudos to Kevin Innes, the convention coordinator and the rest of those responsible for such a promising convention weekend.
I guess there’s no technical way to fix the funny spelling error, in which Michael Cloud is mentioned early on as Michael Could. Yes we could!
