Newsmax: Libertarians See Political Gains in NSA Leak DebacleFrom a June 11 Newsmax article which features the reactions of 2012 LP Presidential Nominee Gov. Gary Johnson and LP Executive Director Carla Howell to news of the NSA leak:

“Hopefully, what Edward Snowden will bring about will be very healthy,” Johnson said, referring to the intelligence contractor who leaked details of the program to the media.

“We are the only party that has called for scrapping the National Defense Authorization Act, the Patriot Act, and the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act and the downsizing of all intelligence agencies,” Howell told Newsmax.

    Not if the LP does nothing. Gotta get some bumper stickers, do news releases and hey how about a billboard or two in Washington D.C?
