The UNK American Democracy Project will be hosting an open forum at the University of Nebraska, Kearny tomorrow. The subject of this will be third party perspectives on the economic crisis.
Panelists will include Libertarian Donald Sluti, Green Steve Larrick, and Andrew Damon of the Socialist Equality Party. The event is free and open to the public.

I feel I might introduce my self here. My name is Kate, I’m a newbie here, someone told me that i might find some good information here so… basically that’s why I’m here, and for any good advice i might get also… hope to have good time here
I don’t get the joke… Seriously, wouldn’t the libertarian agree with what the socialist said, if they own the bar they can make the rules.
How about:
A green, a socialist and a libertarian are in a bar. The green orders a round of drinks, then the socialist orders a round of drinks. Then the libertarian orders one drink for himself. The socialist says: “Hey, come on, buy us a drink, buddy.”
And the libertarian says: “But, but, that’s distribution of wealth!”
The U.S. is in a fiscal mess and all the tools to get the word out are there and have been used in the past, but when it comes to the LP we are spinning our wheels on internal bullshit.

What about a Constitution Party person joining them? Or better yet, a member of the Prohibition Party?

A green, socialist and libertarian go out for drinks. The green says, “there’s too much smoke in this bar.” The socialist says, “yeah, it is smokey. You know, if we all owned this bar we could make rules for the greater good.”

A Libertarian, a Green, and a Socialist huh? If they go out for drinks afterwards, it’ll sound like the start of a joke 😉
