An internal survey conducted by the American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee over the weekend finds Green presidential candidate Dr. Jill Stein as the preferred choice of a plurality of those members who responded. The organization asked over 43,000 members, of which approximately 3,200 participated in the survey.
According to ADC, which regards itself as the largest grassroots Arab American organization in the United States, the survey examined the presidential preferences of its members following the entry of Democratic Vice President Kamala Harris into the presidential race. It was conducted in collaboration with Molitico and Community Pulse, covering a period of time from July 27 to July 28. Members were contacted via SMS text, and nearly ten percent responded, with ADC verifying the voter files of approximately 3,200 respondents.
Early results published by ADC this week show Green Party candidate Dr. Jill Stein leading a field of four candidates with the support of 45.3% of those surveyed. Stein leads Democratic Vice President Kamala Harris, who received 27.5%. Republican Party nominee Donald Trump garnered the support of 2% of members, while independent Robert F. Kennedy Jr. rounded out the survey with 1.2% support. Information provided by the organization also shows that 17.9% of its members are undecided, with 6% refusing to vote.
The ADC has not publicly released the full data of its survey, so it is not yet known whether Libertarian Party nominee Chase Oliver or independent candidate Dr. Cornel West were included among other options. However, the organization said it intends to release the full results at a later date.
A previous survey of members in May found Stein leading a slightly different field by a closer margin of 25%. She was followed by 23% of members expressing support for the movement to elect uncommitted Democratic Party delegates, independent Dr. Cornel West at 20%, then-candidate Democratic President Joe Biden at 7%, and Donald Trump at 2%. Another 19% of members said they were undecided and Democratic Party candidate Marianne Williamson was footnoted as receiving the support of roughly 1%.
Notably, Kennedy was not included in the earlier survey, nor was any other candidate. 36,139 individuals were surveyed, with 2,196 responding at the time.

LOL @ dungfly. Presumably Walter was referring to Justin Amash, who, while certainly never anywhere near libertarian, was until recently a member of the Libertarian Party, which is more than your Sirhan Sirhan-esque fake-“christian” Democrat James Abourezk can say for himself.
It now appears that the executive director of this organization is one of three potential candidates under consideration for Stein’s vice president position.
Per Jeff? Re the Arab-American Anti-Discrimination Committee, while not all Arabs are Muslims and not all Muslims are Arabs, traditionally, CAIR has, especially since 9/11, been the main voice for Muslim Americans — many of whom, but of course by no means al of whom, are Arabs. That said, the AAADC was founded by that very James Abourezk that Ziobro references. Also, CAIR has been more … assertive … post 10/7, and drawn more flak in return from the ADL.
I did a Google search for molitico and for molitico polling – no results besides this article or stuff about this article. I have no idea who they are.
I wish Justin Amash had stayed with the Libertarian Party.
Amash would have won the LP nomination in 2020 if he had continued his campaign to the convention.
So, the survey went no further left than Stein, who has investment hypocrisy issues? https://socraticgadfly.blogspot.com/2023/11/does-green-party-two-time-retread-jill.html
The only Libertarian to ever sit in Congress was an Arab American. Too bad that party didn’t consider him for a Presidential candidate.
