Libertarian Republic Article Slams Nick Sarwark for Tweet about Gun-Toting Missouri Couple

The Libertarian Republic published an article from Joshua Ferguson on Tuesday criticizing Libertarian National Committee chairman Nicholas Sarwark.  Sarwark has come under fire for his recent tweet accusing a Missouri couple of breaking the law for brandishing firearms as trespassing protestors descended on their property.

Ron Paul Endorses Joshua Smith for LNC Chair

Yesterday, former Congressman Ron Paul, the Libertarian Party’s 1988 presidential nominee and lifetime party member, endorsed Joshua Smith for chairman of the Libertarian National Committee in a video posted on Twitter.

Paul believes that Smith, who worked on Paul’s 2008 presidential campaign, has the organizational experience and philosophic integrity to do well as chair.… Read more ...

Life and Liberty Party Holds First National Convention, Nominates Ticket

The conservative Life and Liberty Party held its first national convention this past Saturday on Zoom, as reported at American Third Party Report.  It nominated party chairman J.R. Myers of Alaska for president and professor Tiara Lusk of Idaho for vice president.  According to the party’s website, it is currently on the ballot in Arkansas and is attempting to appear on several others.… Read more ...

2016 Socialist Party USA Nominee Mimi Soltysik Dies

As reported at Ballot Access News, the 2016 presidential nominee of Socialist Party USA Emidio “Mimi” Soltysik died earlier today at the age of 45.  He reportedly suffered from liver cancer.

Soltysik was the co-chairman of Socialist Party USA from 2013 to 2015.  He was vice chair from 2011 to 2013. … Read more ...

Natural Law Party of Michigan Officially Nominates De La Fuente/Richardson Ticket

Yesterday, the Natural Law Party of Michigan, the last remaining ballot qualified entity of the now-defunct national Natural Law Party, officially nominated businessman Rocky De La Fuente for president and historian Darcy Richardson for vice president, Ballot Access News reports.  The Alliance Party, for which De La Fuente/Richardson is the 2020 ticket, previously announced an agreement to use the ballot line of the Natural Law Party of Michigan. … Read more ...
