Independence Party Caucus!
February 2nd, 7:00 P.M.
Caucus with the Independence Party on February 2nd where we will choose delegates to congressional and state endorsing conventions, consider state party platform resolutions, and take a straw poll for governor!
It is important to note that all delegate terms have ended and an entire slate of new delegates will be considered on caucus night.
Please use the secretary of state’s web site Caucus Finder for an IP caucus site in your area: http://caucusfinder.sos.state.mn.us
If you can’t get out on caucus night, the Independence Party is doing something truly creative and unique in American political history. As an alternative to attending the physical caucus on February 2nd, you can attend our online caucus starting at 9:00 P.M. February 2nd, and lasting through February 28th.
For more information on the physical or virtual caucuses please visit the Independence Party web site at http://www.independenceminnesota.org

Though, it is unclear if the other candidates were invited and declined, or what.
They still left out many other candidates. In total there are 29.
I want to give three cheers for the local League of Women Voters! The League is a powerful, and long-standing organization. I have seen them work for good and for bad at various times. And, in this case, thanks and congrats to them for including so many voices! This 20-way governor debate was sponsored by the League of Women Voters Minnesota Education Fund.
