Why is Massachussetts red? The state website says “A person can seek nomination and election without filing nomination papers.” (See http://www.sec.state.ma.us/ele/elestkr/stkridx.htm). Does this not apply to President?
I would think that if Rocky Anderson voters were to switch their votes, in most places it would be to Jill Stein or in some cases Obama before they would vote for Johnson….although, of course, every voter is different.
Let’s be frank friends. Write-in votes make the garbage can more times than they make it to the SOS office for tabulation. It’s ALWAYS best to send your protest vote by way of a “qualified” candidate as those votes are counted (eventually that is-lol). Gary Johnson has the Ballot Access to make a diff. so consider using him if your first choice doesn’t have their name on the ballot !
Here are a few things the Zogby Poll reveals:
10.1% of Independent Voters plan to cast their ballots for Libertarian Presidential nominee Gov.Gary Johnson
7.5% of Hispanic voters plan to vote for him
7.0% of 18-29 year old voters plan to vote for him
5.9% of 30-49 year old voters plan to vote for him
Imagine what this can mean for… our Libertarian Presidential Ticket – Governor Gary Johnson and Judge Jim Gray –
Red–yes. Please do.
#3, the Oct. 1 2012 Ballot Access News has complete information on the ballot status of all presidential candidates who are on in at least one state (although not write-in status, because that wasn’t final when I wrote that issue). If you e-mail me at [email protected] and tell me your postal address I’ll send you that copy.
Should we delete “Grundmann’s Gay Lover’s” spam?
He is pretty good on the economic issues and staying out of Israel’s wars. However, he should become a social conservative and stop being ashamed to be White. The other races all stand up for their race so why can’t we?
State law in some states + they may not know who their supporters in those states are.
Looks like they have filled in most of those since the last time I posted this map.

Has some mistakes, but mostly correct
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_presidential_election,_2012#Major_third_parties has the biggest ones.
Johnson is qualified for write-in in Michigan as well.
BTW. I recently took a stab at guessing the total number of votes Rocky Anderson might poll on Election Day. See link below.

@Joshua – In many states you have to file at least a partial slate of Presidential Electors in order to qualify as a write-in. A few states even require small fees or petition signatures.
Even then, the counting of these write-in votes is often spotty at best.
I think I can start:
Libertarian (Gary Johnson/ Jim Gray All States)
On in 48 + DC
Off in MI and OK
When it’s that many, it’s easier to do that way..
Do we have a full list of all third Parties and where they are Ballot-Qualified, and where they are write ins?
I am not completely sure, but in Missouri you just need to fill out the paperwork. I am not aware of any Justice Party in Missouri, but a party needs signatures and the deadline has passed for a party.
I didn’t know his campaign had gone national. Good for him.
Why do they need volunteers to get write-in status?
