April 16th, 2013. Press release from the campaign:
Joshua Fauver of Vidalia, Louisiana has recently announced his candidacy for Louisiana State Representative for district 21 and will be running on the Constitution Party ticket. Though born in Natchez, Mississippi Joshua has spent his entire life in Vidalia. A graduate of Vidalia High School Joshua is currently studying history at the University of Louisiana at Monroe. At just 19 he has already had a successful career of political activism. In 2012 he interned for the Youth For Ron Paul campaign and led a campaign effort that captured 75% of the vote from Concordia and Catahoula Parish in the 2012 Louisiana Republican Caucus. Later in 2012 he joined the Constitution Party and supported Virgil Goode for the office of presidency and worked with Christina Tobin of Free and Equal to have an alternative presidential candidate debate that was viewed by over 20 million people around the world.
His decision to run was based on the direction the sate is going economically. Joshua said, “The total debt for the state of Louisiana is $67,658,966,000 which is an increase from last year’s debt of $63,084,841,000 (according to the Sunshine Review) .” He claims that new leadership is needed in Baton Rouge and that the state government needs to take a new direction to overcome the economic troubles Louisiana is facing. He believes that one of the major factors contributing to Louisiana’s economic troubles is that it ranks 15th in the nation in overall economic freedom, according to a Fraser Institute Report, and believes that if Louisiana had more economic freedom it would have greater economic success.
Joshua is running on a platform of life, liberty, and prosperity. He is 100% pro-life and believes life begins at the point of conception and should be protected. He believes that government should be constrained and operate only within its constitutional boundaries; he believes that like Thomas Jefferson wrote in the Declaration of Independence that governments are instituted among men for the sole purpose of securing these rights. Joshua has a vision of a prosperous Louisiana. He believes that it is through limited government that we can reach this goal. “Our neighbor, Texas, has demonstrated the benefits of doing away with the state income tax. It creates an attractive environment for businesses and job creators.”, Joshua says, “If we as a state were to use Texas as a model, and create a business friendly environment for our state, it seems to be only logical to believe that we wouldhave similar results as Texas had.”

Mr. Seidenberg, I want to see if you can clarify who the invitation of the lecture tour is directed towards?
From read this post I think he would be a good
choice for that office. Please let me know the out
come.
Also consider a lecture tour in California. It could be that the American Independent Party
of California might consider being a sponsor
of that California tour.
Sincerely, Mark Seidenberg, Vice Chairman,
American Independent Party of California
